This is an absolutely stellar product. The picture quality is phenomenal. The onboard speaker system is surprisingly robust. The auto-focus feature works flawlessly. The system is extremely portable and fast to set up. I’ve used this for client presentations in a conference room, at client meetings I’ve had outdoors during COVID (even looks decent in daylight), and we’ve used it for family movie night as well. Performed great in all settings. My biggest word of advice, however, is DON’T CHEAP OUT ON THE SCREEN. You’re paying a decent chunk of change for the projector, so make sure you’re getting a “4K screen” to match. I’ve tried this using a low-quality outdoor screen setup and the quality drops off when using outside during the daytime.

Not good. Advertised as android and aptoide based app store. But cannot install disney+, hotstar, prime video, hulu, HBO. Pathetic app store. Need to add additional roku device just to add streaming. Very bad. Not a single wire device. Need to attach external device.
Otherwise picture quality is very good in very bright room. No need of white projector paint or screen. Just plain wall and enjoy. Speaker is not that good. But can work for non audiophile. Light weight and can move it easily. Setup is easy. But manual keystone is not that great as well auto does not help to make screen size go straight.

£1600 on Amazon. £200 off at checkout. Fantastic picture. Will have to watch all my 4K stuff all over again in a larger style.

the best home 4K projector, no installation, portable, best LED light, bright, clear, good video quality, sometimes good HDR

I’m happy with the video quality, didn’t try the speakers. It is much bigger than other modern projectors, but no bulb makes it worth it especially since it’s on the ceiling so space doesn’t really matter. The app store appears to be empty so forget about any apps you may have read about.

I’ve been looking FOREVER to find a 4k short throw projector to replace my EPSON 1060 and this was the only one with the throw distance that could fit in my room and match the size of the screen we had.
I loved the color with the 3 LCD chip on the Epson and was hoping to get one of theirs but ALL the dang projectors were bulky and too long of a throw.
As this was literally the only one that worked that wasn’t a ultra short throw ( I have family with small children that come by ) that plays 4K it was technically my only choice if I wanted to play on the ps5 in all its glory. Luckily I have the ps4 Pro and could at least test its 4k capability AND HDR . The results were at times good, and other times…ok. Particularly for the HDR, more on that later.
Pros:
-Very sharp 4k image, good colors, deep reds
-Decent brightness for some situations, would still recommend a darker room but can preform well with some ambient light
-Short throw is super short (0.8 for 100in screen)
-Speakers are the BEST speakers I have heard on a projector, though I listen through a surround sound set up myself
-Wireless dongle it comes with works, has some apps that are useful for on the go viewing. (youtube, pandora, web browser) but not a whole lot of app choices. No google or apple store.
-ability to use as a bluetooth speaker with the option to turn off the light element, very nifty.
-LED light with DLP has almost completely gotten rid of the rainbow effect that I would see with other DLP projectors
-DOES have screw mounts on bottom to hang from ceiling ( that’s how I have it )
-App that lets you mirror your phone, for both ios and android, on the projector. It’s a bit too janky to watch videos from your phone on it, but fun for slideshows and memes or whatever.
-aux output for aux speakers or bluetooth if you wish
-Usb C input for phones or charging but mine didn’t work for video (Samsung s10)
CONS
-THE CONTROLLER SUCKS! I did not receive the cool wheel controller, I got a simple black crappy buttons controller that only registers half the dam time. Just turning the thing on is a freakin chore, almost negating all the positivity given for the few apps it do have. You have to point it at a particular part of the projector and even then sometimes it won’t work.
-Eco mode ironically keeps overheating the projector and forcing it to shut down. It does consume less energy and dim the screen which is fine, but I think it also underpowers the fans too much.
-The HDR on this sucks. It’s too blown out and the colors are all wrong. I tried to recalibrate but no go. I don’t know if an update could fix but I would at least hope so. Benq did a better job with their HDR solutions, though still not perfect.
-The controller is freaking garbage, seriously
-The app it comes with is bare bones and only allows you to make a few selections. If it allowed me to be able to use the app instead of the dumb controller I’d be nicer, but it doesn’t allow you to even TURN ON the freaking projector, only turn off and use arrows to make a choice. Why can’t it just mirror the projector app? Dunno.
-It has an automatic focus and keystone, both digital and can only be controlled with the controller or the wheel button on the projector. This is a con because the Keystone is ONLY vertical, and the Focus needs to be done a number of times as it seems to randomly go out of focus, or at least miss the focus while it is apparently warming up.
-The frame interpolation deal sometimes wrecks the signal. I’ll get static around the edges that only go away if I restart the projector and turn of the setting. I just keep it off now.
-There is some Lag, it’s not that bad really, about as much as the Epson I had am still able to enjoy rocket league on it, but if you’re sensitive to lag the Benq TK850 is a decent 4k gaming option but a longer throw :/
So it’s pretty good, if you need a short throw 4k projector it is as of today basically your only choice unless you want to go ultra short throw.
But don’t get for HDR, still needs work.

NOTE FINALI
PREGI
– ottimi colori e definizione (soprattutto sul classico muro bianco)
– la distanza dal muro serve 40/50cm per fare il 200″
– molto silenzioso
DIFETTI

Where to start with this one! I ordered this around the holidays, knowing we would have travel coming up and I have gone back and forth on a 4K Projector. I took a shot on this model, and I am in love. The resolution on this this is outstanding, 4K and I can bring it with me? I can use it in my basement on my screen, or bring it out to the garage to watch football on Sundays with my friends, cant wait to do movie nights this summer. I also noticed I could pair my phone up to the Bluetooth speaker and play my podcasts when I am in the garage messing around. If you are in the market for a high end portable projector, this is the one to go with!

This product exceeded my expectations for the price. The image is bright. clear and vivid. And while I do not use the soundbar, its is excellent for what it is. Could 100% be a standalone replacement TV.
Only downside I see on this is the distance it needs to be from the wall for a large picture. I have a 120″ screen and had to pull it away from the wall by two and a half feet.
