I really wanted to like these XR glasses, but there are just too many shortcomings. They are great if you want to watch YouTube or movies or use your handheld with a bigger screen. I need something more versatile that can be used for productivity also. That’s where these fall short. In the Spacewalker app, you do not get true multiple screens. Well, you get multiple screens of whatever is built into Spacwalker, but not for any actual iOS apps. In other words, you’re limited to Viture’s apps. That really doesn’t do me any good for my particular use case. I tried to get some answers about Spacewalker’s functionality before purchasing, but the only answers I could get were vague. Now I know why.
While I was able to dial in the diopters for my iPhone and iPad, I could not get a clear image on my MacBook Pro. It’s an M3 Max and I don’t know if it’s more of a MacBook or Viture issue, but it certainly wasn’t sharp enough to work. I also found there was a lot of reflection/glare using the glasses, even in low light. I know Viture is working on a macOS app for multiple screens, but if works like the iPhone version it will still be pretty much useless.
Overall, the experience and what you get simply are not worth the price.
