VIVO Universal TV Stand For 32-50 Inch STAND-TV00J

Okay, so I had an old Samsung 32-inch LCD, which was on the wall by my treadmill, and was going to recycle it, when I decided to put in my bedroom on bookshelf I was taking all the books off; but realized I’d tossed the crappy stand. Looking for something, found this, reviews good, took chance. So, very well made, simple and complete instructions (not just cryptic icons!), parts are all in separated baglets not dumped into a box that comes loose in transit. Really impressed as I was expecting it to be “barely usable” for my purposes, and I can actually recommend this to anybody who needs a proper stand to hold any VESA compatible display; would also work for a computer monitor (perhaps not the Apple 27-inch cinema display which weighs twice as much as a TV) — but also includes safety wire for wall, or in my case I’m going to put a screw into back left side of bookshelf, so if there is a quake this doesn’t come falling out the front. I liked the glass bottom which is kind of dull on one side and shiny on the other so you could actually choose which look you prefer (for those who love piano black, and those who don’t …). I chose the matte look since the TV has non-glare screen. So, epic poem over — included two pics. ( NOTE: I paid for this, was not gifted or incentivized to write review — which I never do!) 🙂

I absolutely love, love, love this TV stand!!!! It was easy to assemble and blends right in with my tempered glass entertainment stand. I love that it raises my tv up to a more comfortable viewing height and gives me room to place items on the top of my entertainment stand. With my 43″ tv, it’s very sturdy even without the safety cable.

The only hiccup I encountered was with attaching the monitor brackets to my Sony 43″ XBR43X800H. My tv uses the m6 screws but both lenths were too long to be tightened down properly. I just used the m6/8 spacers that were included for curved monitors–one on each screw allowed me to tighten the screws down properly.

I’ve read that some people complained about how the parts weren’t labeled but I’ve found alot of companies don’t label their parts. But, what they did do was package the parts into individual packets so that it was easier to determine which parts were which. I just marked each packet with a Sharpie so that I could determine at a glance what was in each packet.

I couldn’t be happier with this TV stand and I’m looking forward to enjoying it for many years to come.

I am Using it on an older NEC x401s (40inch display monitor which is about 16kgs). Its chunky and she’s heavy!! And this stand (to my amazement) handles it with no problem!! …no tipping issues. Just sturdy!! LOVE IT!! WOULD RECOMMEND!

I ordered this for my 43 inch TV as a replacement for the cheap plastic feet that the TV came with, which had become loose and were unable to get tight again, leaving the TV unstable. This has the added benefit, of course, of allowing the TV to be placed on virtually any stand you might have because of the center mount pedestal base.
I ordered this 2 Day delivery because I was in a hurry to get this done, and it came the next day! All of the parts were neatly packed and organized, and thankfully, nothing was missing as is sometimes the case. The only criticism that I have of this aspect is that, although the various nuts and bolts required for assembly are identified by letters in the included instruction booklet, they are not identified as such in the packages that they come in, so you kind of have to figure out which parts go where just by eyeballing them. This did not turn out to be as much of a problem as it might have appeared though.
The instruction booklet is written in English and has text instructions, rather than just pictures like, for instance, an Ikea booklet. Assembly was straight forward and easy; attach vertical column to base with 3 bolts, attach horizontal crossbar to column with 4 bolts, attach 2 brackets to TV Vesa mount holes with 2 bolts each, hang TV on assembled stand, and tighten 2 security screws. Done. Something to note here, though. You have to make sure when hanging the TV on the crossbar, that it is fully centered before you drop it in place because once it is in place, it is very hard to move. I did not pay enough attention to this and as a result, I spent as much time trying to get the TV re-centered on the stand as I did in putting the whole stand together! I found through trial and error that it was easier to mount the TV to the stand by laying it face down on a bed and then sliding the crossbar back and forth until it was perfectly centered, rather than trying to do it standing up on a table as pictured in the instructions. And, a couple of taps from a hammer on the tops of the TV brackets were needed to fully seat the TV onto the crossbar. This is not mentioned in the instructions and may not be needed in every case, though.
Finally, all of the components of the stand are of good quality and well-machined, even down to the nuts and bolts, of which there are many to fit virtually any TV out there. Nothing feels cheap or flimsy. I was particularly impressed by the pedestal base, which is a heavy and glossy piano black glass base. It is very classy looking, and it gives my TV more of a premium look than the cheap plastic feet did.
All in all, I am very pleased with my purchase, and for what this stand costs, you really can’t go wrong. 4 stars because nothing’s perfect.

I usually don’t bother writing reviews cuz I might like a product but don’t have the energy to express it. But as I have a few minutes to spare while I wait for my tortillas to warm up I shall enlighten whomever reads this with my experience.
Sooooo….I bought a 49″ tv in a spurr of depression but I was aware the legs of it were mediocre plastic so after looking at a few options I chose this stand.
To be honest the ensemble was easy…except the part to attach the safety cable to the wall which was very randomly explained….but man o man this stand can hold a mofo in place.
It looks great with the glossy finish and to be honest I’m quite please and do recommend it.
