YEOWWW! Catnip Toy, Yellow Banana

My two cats really loved this! It was the first catnip toy I’ve purchased that I could actually smell the catnip. It was very strong and my cats went nuts over it! We laughed our heads off at their reactions. They played with it for a week until they had chewed all the scent out if it. I deducted one star because it only lasted one week. They were much happier during this week and I can see how having catnip around for them is beneficial. Everything else I’ve bought was so weak that they had no reaction to it. I will likely be buying these bananas quite often but will also be trying to grow catnip at home for them since it has such a positive effect.

 My kitty only plays with 3 cat toys. And I have tried them all! This Yeoww banana, which he plays with daily, or occasionally he will enjoy the Cat Flyer, and even less occasionally a little electronic peekaboo hide and seek toy. That’s it. The rest of the time he enjoys playing games or kitty training with me! (or catching lizards outside on the lanai) I own four of these bananas! I have them strategically placed in several rooms and on my lanai chair. Anytime he gets frisky, particularly right before falling asleep, I just toss him his banana and he’s happy. This toy is excellent for discouraging accidental play-aggression on fingers and hands when my kitty gets rowdy. He will also pick up this banana on his own and takes it to his favorite resting spot to play. They really are great! Highly recommend! By the way, if you are interested in kitty training which is very fun, highly stimulating for kitties, and a great bonding tool with you too, I highly recommend the Albert & Mia cat products and youtube channel @outdoorbengal.  This is the absolute best cat toy I’ve ever gotten. Every cat that comes in contact with it loves it. It’s a bit pricey, but it’s totally worth it. The catnip is great quality, even after a few months. I’ve never seen my cat kick any other toy but this one.

My cat is super picky about toys, but the Yeowww! is the only one she goes wild for. It’s durable and lasts a long time even with all the kicking, biting, and tossing my cat does to this toy. It’s just the right size for her to bat around. I keep buying it because she loves it so much.

I’ve also purchased some for friends’ cats, and it’s been a hit with all of them. It’s like a box for cats—no matter how fancy other toys are, they always go for the box. This toy is like that; it’s an absolute winner. I highly recommend it!

My cat is a little older now so I decided to give her a catnip toy, heard these were good since they are filled to the brim with catnip instead of stuffing, no stuffing even in sight, and it’s more than the truth! The smell is so great even for a human it smells like green tea bags with mint, but as you get closure it starts to smell like good stinky catnip, that expensive catnip smell. She started digging through the bag and turning into a incomprehensible ball as soon as she got her paws on the it! Couldn’t even get a clear picture!
I only took a star off for durability, as she is not a bit bitter, but a kicker, and it is very soft and weirdly thin fabric that has hole mark already. But I trust it may last for a while, atleast we can save all that catnip if it breaks. Will definitely be buying all my catnip products here!
