You should have seen the look on my aquatic turtle’s faces when I whipped out this food. They go crazy for it, wiggling around everywhere when it is feeding time. My only complaint is that it tends to leave their water a bit murky and green. They have a complete filter system but the green stays! And it is not from algae. The food does float, so they can feast as they naturally would. I’ve seen one of my turtles flush the food from their system, and to my surprise, some rocks came out as well 🙁 so I do not feel that this food has the adequate calcium percentage that most aquatic turtles need in their diet, so it may be helpful to also find some treats with calcium to satisfy their dietary needs! The food is a bit wider in size, so if you have a turtle that has a hard time catching food (like I do) you may want to look at another brand. But this food is fine other than what I have listed above.

I was glad to see the list of vitamins -and while I got it too late to give my turtles-( are they wild most are handicapped) they are hibernating -Come spring I’ll feed it to them to get them back up to full speed.
