About once a month I catch Turtleini biting at a rock in his tank. I throw in one of these and he munches on it for a couple weeks.

Great value. This 10 pack is about what I would pay to get 3 from stores nearby me.

I am using this for a tank with snails and a crawfish. It’s way more convenient and cheaper than using the liquid calcium supplement.
The crawfish appears to be quite content as she is now egg laden and busy building a burrow.
One of the mystery snails continues to grow quite large and its shell appears unblemished and sturdy.

I found this to be an excellent solution for snails with pitted shells, needing calcium. And the price is great also. One block has lasted two months and shells are all healthy, without any pitting. I recommend putting the block in a nylon filter bag, as it starts to fall apart over time if you touch it and need to move it to clean the tank.
JMLMT –
I use these for my mystery snails in a 75-gallon tank; they seem to help keep snail shells hard but dissolve in less than a week, which seems to be a short time. Good for snails, not sure about turtles, LOL!!

Great value for your money. My turtles go crazy when I give them. Great source of calcium. Love it.

Roxana Pawliszyn –
White turtle lips mean she has been indulging again. It is a treat for our little razor-back musk turtle almost every day and knowing it is also helping her shell to be strong and healthy makes us feel good dropping it in the tank.

These 2 love this calcium block, had to put 2 in because one of the boys didn’t want to share. I didn’t know they ate these until now, now I see how much they love them.
