I ordered this as a temporary replacement after my last PSU failed. It is decently loud, with some of the loudest coil whine Iโ€™ve heard in anything. I wear headphones, so it didnโ€™t affect me, and it performed fine, but beware if you use speakers instead of headphones.

bought this to slap into an older FX-6300 system i had sitting around. needed to upgrade psu due to getting a better gpu for the system and this had all the connectors i needed.

the good: it works and does supply the power i need for the system i put it into.

the bad: well, its a low cost psu. dont expect to be blown away by performance.

it does work and was easy to install. the cost and the numbers are what made me buy this psu. its a good deal on a psu in this power range. its not made of the highest end parts, but again, its low cost and does its job. nothing to get hyped about, but works. it does stay cool under load and it is quiet.

10/10 would buy again if need be

    update 11/5/2020:
this PSU is still going strong. its currently running a Ryzen 5 3600, Asrock X570 Phantom Gaming 4 motherboard, 2x8gb GEiL Evo Spear 3200mhz ram, RX-580 8gb Red Devil (overclocked), a 500gb m.2 pcie 4.0 ssd, a 1tb sata ssd, 4tb 7200rpm HDD, a dvd/CD-RW drive, 5 ARGB Rosewill 2000rpm 120mm case fans, a DeepCool Neptwin V2 and the usual mouse/keyboard/headset sort of stuff. never once had a problem. not even once. the light is dim and not noticed when on, which in my case, is just fine. of course, if you spend more money, your gonna get a better quality, but the thing is, even the big names all use the same manufacturers. this is made by the same manufacturer that makes EVGA and a couple other big name power supplies and this is of the same quality. the big piece of advice i can think to give to someone is to ALWAYS get a power supply that is rated to 2x what your system is going to draw under load, or more..

Well packaged. Easy to install. Plenty of connectors. Ketchup & mustard cables but they are hidden in black mesh sleeves, so…

The thing is virtually silent and stays cool. If it holds up a few years it’s a good deal!

I work with my computer and need something reliable. Most 1 star reviews are dead on arrival but I’ve been using this power supply for about 2 months now. Absolutely awful. I always wondered why the big tech youtubers always say to just go for name brand and now I’ve learned my lesson. It wasn’t dead on arrival. It worked out of the box and was great. For about a week. After that it would randomly shut off, whether or not there is a power draw or not. I’ve double checked my outlet and surge protector and I don’t think I’m even anywhere near the rated wattage (I’m at like 500 max with a Rhyzen 7 5800x and Sapphire 6600xt on a B450 MB) It’s absolutely ridiculous how unreliable it is. The reason I’m writing this review is because I just lost hours of work (again) and am finally fed up with it. I am absolutely fuming just because theres no rhyme or reason to it. I can turn my pc on again and run it 8 hours straight with no problems. It’s nerve racking and leaves such a bad taste in your mouth. You get what you pay for. Just get a 600W EVGA if you can’t afford anything else and forget “future proofing” undervolt even. Just don’t get this power supply. TL:DR Unreliable and sketchy. Go name brand.

Has not failed like others may commented. Itโ€™s clearly a little lighter than the big name (3x price), however, YET to under perform. I recommend. Never purchased an economy priced power supply per reviews scared me off. Not this time. Works great!
