The gel wrist rest part is awesomely comfortable and supportive. It’s also a nice width when you don’t have too much room to play with.

El Mouse pad se puede usar con o sin la base plastica, con la base queda un poco alto pero si lo usas solo con las almohadillas no corres el riesgo de que se resbalen, buen producto.

I got this mousepad because I specifically wanted a hard-backed one I could glue to the mousepad portion that is attached to my keyboard tray (Fellowes as well), so I could have a more stable, ergonomic, and roomy mousepad. It works great for that and I’m glad I got it. However, I’m a bit picky about colors and for some reason the coloring of the photo online does not match the real life version. The wrist pad is a darker metallic gray, and the mousepad is a plain light gray. The hard back is black. Why not make it all the same color??? Or at least have an accurate photo of it online. It’s aesthetically not the most pleasing, but it still was worth it for me.

I picked this one up after reading the reviews attesting to its durability. The mousing surface itself isn’t that large, but it seems adequate if you’re working in an office environment. I am using a Logitech Mediaplay mouse (another fine piece of computer gear that is quite durable) and the pad is essentially 3.5 mouse sizes wide, and a little over a mouse size tall. You will be fine with a smaller screen and lower resolution, but I suspect anyone with a massive monitor will have issues moving the mouse over and over.
Optical mouse seems to glide perfectly on it, and even with the limited range of motion its tracking is sufficient for casual gaming. I’ve read the various reviews here and the more negative ones state that the pad is either too high or low. I think it depends on your own body type. The pads are both removable, so I suggest you take the advice of another reviewer here and add a piece of paper or something under it until you reach your desired height.
The gel is firm, yet at the same time it’s not painful to the wrists. For those that find it too firm, I came from a memory foam mouse pad that was much softer. Only real issue that I can see with memory foam is it gradually loses its bounce after a few years, whereas this gel probably will not.
Overall I’m fairly impressed with Fellowes, and if the rest of their products are of this caliber in terms of durability and usability I’ll have to buy more from them.
As an aside, the color scheme is atrocious. If you don’t mind spending an extra two dollars it might be worth getting the sleeker looking sapphire/black combo. I was tempted, but I figured that platinum/graphite wouldn’t look TOO hideous. I was wrong.

I use computers 8+ hours a day for work and then also spend quite a bit of time gaming … carpal tunnel and/or general wrist fatigue are an ever-present danger for me. The gel style of this rest provides exactly the combination of support and padding I need.
I like the combination of wrist pad and mouse pad and how the plastic base keeps them solidly attached (yet allows me to remove each component for separate cleaning when I need to clean them.
The base has these little rubber feet to keep the assembly from sliding and every now and then, I need to take the base and wash it in warm soapy water to refresh the grip of the feet… I also find that every now and then, I need to do roughly the same with the mouse pad (and less often with the wrist rest) being able to separate them and clean only what is needed keeps me from having to soak the whole darn thing far more often.

The Gel in the rest is not as soft and forgiving as the last one of these that I bought, so it’s NOT as comfortable as the older ones were. Other then that it’s a nice quality rest and pad.

Lo uso da sempre, ormai il vecchio era rovinato (ha retto più di 10 anni!!) e ho deciso di riprenderlo nuovo
Oltre che comodo, è essenziale per proteggere mano polso braccio da posture errate

I have been using the same Fellowes Gel Wrist Rest and Mouse Pad for a long time. I think it’s been around 20 years (give a take a couple). I recently purchased a new laptop that I can use downstairs and I decided to get an ergonomic mouse pad. I wondered if Fellowes was still in business and there it was. It appeared to be the same product as the one I use upstairs on the desktop. Some of the reviews stated disappointment that the product wasn’t as good. I decided to give it a try and am happy to say that this appears to be the same! I was so pleased with this one that I ordered another to replace the old one upstairs that I’ve used for so long (it’s now on it’s 3rd or 4th computer). This is the perfect long-term solution for an ergonomic mouse pad.

After many, many years of using this exact model, I figured it was time to replace it because the bones on the edge off my wrist had finally worn through the gel pad cover. Happy to find the replacement was reasonably priced and ready for another decade of clicking and scrolling!

I love it, probably the 3rd one I’ve purchased in the last 17 years. I spend lots of time on my laptop and it has saved my wrist from any pain.

Love the support it provides. I just wish it was the original version which was softer / spongier .
