What do you do when your ‘frig is always crowded and it’s a royal pain trying to find what you need? In our case, we have lots of beverages (milk, soda, juice, beer) and they seemed to always be in the way of finding actual food, so we opted for a small ‘frig for just the beverages.
After researching what seemed to be nearly every small refrigerator on Amazon and elsewhere, comparing square footage, features, finishes, freezer styles, and prices, we chose this one.
PRO: Nice size! It can easily hold all our beverages, making it easier to locate food in the main ‘frig. It can hold six cans in the door along with a couple of 2-liter bottles of soda, and the shelves are adjustable for those 16.9 ounces bottles of soda – the top shelf easily holds a dozen of them standing upright. Other shelves can be positioned to accommodate bottles laying down (fits six across easily), the third shelf houses two 12-packs of cans, and the little crisper drawer is great for odds and ends, like snacks.
Looks nice in the den. Never thought I’d want a ‘frig in the den, but this one has a nice silver finish on the doors and a black, no-fingerprint surface on the sides. It doesn’t look out of place next to a bookshelf.
Well made. It arrived in a sturdy box with lots of packaging and reinforcements to keep it from getting dented, but then again, it’s made of sturdy metal which wouldn’t have easily been damaged. Inside and out, it’s easy to see that some thought and ingenuity went into this ‘frig. We’ve owned those little cube-type ‘frigs, and this one is in a different league.
Reasonable price. We managed to get it while it was on sale, so the price was within our budget. Now that we have used it for a couple of months, I can honestly say we got a really good deal. I don’t expect the savings to be eaten up by additional costs to the utility bill either. It seems to be a real energy-mizer.
Cold! It took less than an hour to reach a very cold temp, and at level 2! It has kept everything in it exceptionally cold on a rather low setting.
Ample freezer. We really didn’t want to get a freezer because most are tiny, have to been defrosted often, and are located in the same compartment as the ‘frig. This one is huge compared to what those little cube-types offer and after a couple of months, we’re not seeing a build-up of frost which we expected since we live in humid Florida. It holds a lot of food and keeps it solidly frozen.
Con: I’m nit-picking here, because what in life is perfect? Nothing. But this little ‘frig comes mighty close! Like my regular-size ‘frig, I hear it come on and off and that’s no big deal. Everyone in a while I hear some slight vibration, but then again, we live in a house that was built in the 40s, so the floor isn’t level. You can shift it ever so slightly and the vibration goes away. A couple of small felt furniture pads might also do the trick (dang! I just gave myself another project!).
This “small” frig has, without a doubt, been one of the best purchases we made in 2023.

I’ve been using these fridges in an elderly facility and they seem to really like them they’re taller than a dorm fridge. They have more room than a dorm fridge they cool down quickly. They have a nice look to them. People seem to be very happy with them.

It’s loud when running. Loud, constantly runs and loudly. Ice built up inside fridge section within 1 hour of running, all down the inside of the back and stayed and is building more ice daily in the 3 days. We’re concerned about the chemical/fire hazards / quality, at this stage. The temperature control was followed as all the instructions and now it’s at setting 3 “as recommended” and that setting is not cold enough to keep 1 can of beverage or a bowl of fruit “located anywhere in the fridge section” cold. Our food is molding as well. If we put the setting on 4-5 the ice gets even thicker in the fridge section which is a location ice should never build up in a fridge. If I knew this fridge was 100% inadequate, I’d never have had ordered and purchased it.

But the fridge part does condensate in the back so if you put anything in a box in there make sure it doesn’t touch the back wall. (It does have a drain for the water but not sure where it goes it hasn’t gone on the floor.. lol)

I wanted to love this mini-fridge. It is very attractive. It is like a miniature that would be perfect if you wanted to build a child a play kitchen. It is too loud to sleep near. I’ve had it two weeks and it is rarely silent. Quiet for a few minutes then your can hear the slight buzz of the motor start up. That could just be white noise, but there is also a sort of crackling noise that continues on even after the motor has stopped. I do not know how much power this constant struggle is drawing. It came with a minor dent that is barely visible. Both freezer and fridge are working fine. Might be okay in a garage or larger room where no one sleeps.
UPDATE: it was set at 3. I adjusted it to a little below 2. it is much quieter and motor runs less often. UPDATE 2: The seller contacted me and offered a refund. This company knows how to do business and keep customers.
