Yes it works, but it’s just barely adequate in quality for the job. It has a very thin cheap plastic housing. The electrical connections are very short so not much wire contact length. All the screws feel like they would strip if you put too much torque on them (a normal amount). So I saved a couple bucks and got what I desserved.

I bought a generator extension cord 10 gauge 10 feet for so cheap. They wanted so much money for a 10 gauge 6 feet regular extension cord so I just created my own and I saved $20.

These are quite nice, easy to use and look clean. They are however a little bit cheaply made. But overall they work well, and fixed my extension cords which had failing connections. So I am happy with them. Would buy again.
