Great night time glow. I am still learning how to use it correctly, but this is a great product. Now I can find my way out of a paper bag or forest.

Overall good compass for the money. Built well, accurate, clear eye lense to view compass readings, and operates as it should.
Draw back for us older guys with progressive glasses. The compass numbers are fairly small. Hard to read in the low light.
I’m a 70yr old guy with a good bit of outdoor trek experience. As a gift for my grandson, I thought i would order this lensatic compass eyeskey ek-22jg after reading the reviews. Using it for training entry level device.
Matt Francis –
The compass seems fairly accurate as an instrument however one of the screws holding the slope gauge fell out so the craftsmanship is somewhat questionable. That feature of the compass is now difficult to use.

This is not a play thing, it’s not a toy, this is some serious hardware that with proper care you could probably leave it to someone in your will. It’s not the lightest thing out there. I’d rather carry more grams of weight than have something that is going to become unusalble if it’s dropped, or if it’s clipped to the pack and I take a tumble. Murphy isn’t nice with stuff, you know? Clear instructions come with. Recommend
