I’ve only had this product for a few days, but so far it works like a champ. I had ice in 8 minutes flat.

You just turn on and have no worries for the afternoon and more. I find the ” ammo ice” to have a distinctive appearance, that really keeps the beverage “ice cold” no pun intendeg.

Ice is made quickly enough.
Standard machine sound as a compressor is in use..nothing odd.
4 stars on value has to do with being 1.5L…you have to add water often. I had a larger one prior that stopped working, so I miss that larger water capacity..was only slightly taller.
Basket and “lift” design allow ice to stack and cause the maker to stop as the laser reads the ice as full – ….you get used to this.
3 STARS…..because of false advertising on self-cleaning:
** This is featured in at least 3 to 4 places on this listing.
** It is NOT in the basic instruction book that comes with the item.
** I’ve tried variations on off/on and holding the button 5 seconds (as noted in this listing), and nothing sets any type of self-cleaning in motion.
** I bought this because I knew even “self-cleaning” needs some work to help it fully clean, so I liked the larger clear top that opens farther back making it easier to reach the basket and smalls areas where the pink slime and mold can gather.
The “self-cleaning” would be nice as it would allow the water pump to run continuously with vinegar mixed and could rotate the basket all without kicking in the freezing compressor. Instead, you have to run a vinegar mix through as cubes to make sure the tubing gets cleaned which takes time running it like making ice and waiting for a long time when it could have been pumping it through continuously.

I’ve wanted one of these for ages but was reluctant to surrender the counter space. It doesn’t actually stick out any further than our Kureg. Makes a full glass of ice in around 10 minutes. It does require a little attention – the ice tends to build a little wall that makes it think its full, so a little red light comes on the front and you’ll need to open it up to move the ice down. Easy peasy. We love this thing.

It’s a great little machine that makes ice quickly. The ice is wet however and you can’t stick it in the freezer or I just turns into a block. It also melts very quickly. However that is to be expected with this type of ice maker. Also the Ice is soft so if you’re and ice chewer like me your it’s perfect and you’re less likely to chip a tooth

Takes 3 bottles of water to fill. Works away so easily. Just be sure to wipe out completely and leave the lid open for a couple of days after you use if not using it again immediately. My friend does not do this and has mold issues. I do this and have had no problems at all.

This icemaker is very nice for the price. Good quality. Very easy to use. Just a little disappointed that the ice bullets are somewhat small. I wanted bigger bullets. I should have read the reviews prior to purchase. But overall good purchase.

I really love this icemaker. I have stood in front of it and watched it work for an hour. It makes ice every six minutes and that is amazing. Guy went to bed and left it on. When I got up I had a whole bag of ice I would recommend this to anyone that wants an ice machine that works fast And is fun to watch
