I’m no binocular expert but these are crystal clear ,nice size , the single eye focus has a large range. The only complaint is the lens caps. They are terrible.

We live on a lake and needed a great pair to see wildlife, these are so clear wish my prescription readers had this clarity! Objects are in 3d, feels so real I want to reach out and touch the images, great differentiation near and far.

J’ai offert ces jumelles à ma conjointe photographe en nature et elle apprécie la clarté et la qualité de ces jumelles dans ces randonnées

I have a 10X50 and a 8X42 pairs of binoculars, but I suspect this is going to be my go-to pair due to its light weight, clear image and ease of focus. Its compact size and rubberized grip feel good in my hands, and the build quality is so much better than the cheap stuff. Good value all around.

Replaced a 10x binocular which I thankfully dropped, resulting in distorted images! It had great magnification but way too much shake. I use binoculars to watch birds in the yard, and especially to take on cruises and overseas trips to watch scenery, animals, etc.
These binoculars are way better shake-wise but give up a little on magnification. A real plus is the wider field of view and the brightness. Image quality is great. I’m looking forward to using them on my Fall trip to Australia and NZ.

Beautiful binoculars, a pleasure to use daily. We use them to bird watch, as well as night sky star gazing. A real treat. 8×42 is the sweet spot for general use binoculars. 8x is enough power to see detail but still be able to hand-hold. 42 is a big enough lens to gather plenty of light for day or night viewing. 10x is too hard to hold by hand (realistically the upper limit for hand-held), as the image jumps around too much. 50mm diameter lens is also the upper end of hand-held, as it is heavier and bulkier to hold without a tripod. The P3 line is a perfect balance of good lens coating at a value price. The higher end models have better lens coating technology, but for the extra $$$ you’d be hard pressed to tell the difference. The only other option to consider paying more money for is waterproofing. Only get waterproof if you really need it (using on a boat is the obvious situation). But for birdwatching outdoors on a clear day, the P3 is a great model. We literally use them every single day. Our living room looks out on a big field with a lot of nature activity. We keep these binoculars on the window sill, ready at a moments notice to watch the show. Nikon is known for optical quality, and these don’t disappoint. Easy to focus, stays in focus, well made, sturdy. Just quality all around.

Delivered with pouch and neck strap. Superb image quality, with or without glasses. Size/weight ok. Cheap lens caps, front caps not tied to strap, so easy to loose.
Mike –
Very clear view, light weight. Great value for that price….highly recommended.
