Tanologist Face And Body Self Tan Drops

I liked the idea that you can mix it with your favorite moisturizer. I decided to try out the dark. My natural skin tone is pale, with thin skin where you can see every purple vein and pretty dark purple under eye circles. My goal was to make my face look healthier.

What I didn’t like is that it made me look too yellow, almost like I had jaundice. I had to use 5 drops in both, my evening and my morning routine because I exfoliate and use retinoids daily. Doing so, greatly diluted my moisturirer. Also to me the bottle is just atrocious. It is impractical and deceiving. First, it is too tall and too skinny so it’s prone to tipping. Yes, I lost 3/4 of the product due to a spill. Second, the bottle is about 1 oz. I placed another 1 oz standard bottle with dropper right next to it and as you can see it is much more compact. To be precise, The Tannologist bottle says 1.01 oz, which is about 29.869 milliliters using google converter, and The Ordinary bottle goes by 1 oz or 30 ml, so it is safe to say that both bottles are about 30 ml.

In conclusion, I will not repurchase this product and search elsewhere for a tanning product that suits me better. But if I wanted to ever repurchase, I would go with the extra dark to use less drops.

After a skin cancer issues this year, I have been religious about keeping my face out of the sun. I wear sun screen and a large hat whenever I spend time in the sun. My face lacked color and frankly didn’t match the rest of my body. I had gotten a sample of this product and thought it was pretty good. I bought it and I have been impressed. I use 2-3 drops with my dollop of moisturizer. I mix them together in my hand and apply like regular. I love the sun-kissed look it gives. I also love not having my hands stained. It give just the right amount of color. I am very pleased.

I have pink undertones and it gave a really nice tan. It comes off pretty fast so you have to stay on top of it but i like it. Stains your hands so wash off when done applying

Ich habe nun schon verschiedene Selbstbräunungsprodukte ausgestet aber dieses ist mit eines der schlechtesten. Richtig geduscht, Peeling benutzt und natürlich auch bodylotion und dazwischen gewartet aber trotzdem ist das Ergebnis nicht nur fleckig sondern auch absolut orange und das bei einem Hellen Hauttyp? nein danke!
Meine Empfehlung für jeden wäre das Selbstbräunungsmousse von B.Tan

Highly recommend and is buildable tan if you are nervous about using tanner. I’ve tried many types and this works really well and is never too orange if you stay below the 12 drops. Below is how to:
Mixed throughly with pinky on palm of hand into CerVe daily moisturizer (key is to wash hands after applying to body**)
Start with legs, chest/stomach, arms, add to hands and face last minimal amount drops to half pump lotion. Ratios are for 6’ tall person.
Chest/neck/arms/stomach 3-4 pumps to 12-14 drops
Thigh (above knee)2 pumps to 10-12 drops
Leg (below knee) 2 pumps to 10-12 drops
Face/hands .5 pumps to 1-3 drops
Key:
-Always wash hands after body or will get orange palms and finger nails!
-Extra smart to use body scrub on elbow, knee (anywhere fake tan regularly darkens too much on your already)
Like most tanners this does have a smell, but smell washes off after shower or two and is no where as strong as many others, plus it hasn’t stained my sheets or towels.
I put all my face serums on after showering then following the lotion to drops ratio above and within 10-15 minutes I’m in bed and it’s fully absorbed.

I have only used tanning lotion before so this face tanning oil was new to me. I was applying it at night and don’t have a night cream to add the oil to. So I just put it on my face directly and wow… the next morning it was noticeable. I was not orange, thankfully but I was a different shade for sure. I waited a few days for it to fade and then have been putting just a few drops in my morning face cream every other day and it’s been a great ratio of coloring along with the rest of my body and seems very natural. Little to no smell at all and no weird residue on face. Happy customer.
