Its great to be added to other smoothies due to healthy ingredients but it does not taste good at all alone like with coffee. I will try chocolate flavor and see.

I enjoy one with breakfast and one with a dinner salad. I had some fruits and almond milk, and I take my time drinking it. It fills me up during both parts of the day and gives me a big boost to my protein for the day. It does not have a sweet vanilla taste but very mild instead, so the fruit and milk complement it well. I make the smoothie slightly thick, so much so the straw is able to stand staight up in the mug. I prefer Truman because the product is certified to contain high quality minerals and vitamins, the exact content I need for after my workouts.

I ordered a couple sample packets from Amazon while waiting for my order to ship directly from truvani (it’s been three weeks and I’m STILL waiting), and this vanilla chai flavor was one of my picks. The taste was really nice just mixed up in almond milk, and it blended pretty nicely in a blender bottle with the whisk ball tossed in. I liked that the ingredients are simple and how it’s sweet but not too sweet. I wouldn’t drink this every day just because it’s significantly more expensive per serving than a lot of other protein powders on the market, but I would buy this again and would recommend it to a friend looking for a vegan protein option.

So I’ve tried Truvani Chocolate and Vanilla, and the Vanilla won out by far as the best vanilla protein I’ve ever had. This is the only vanilla protein powder that tastes of actual natural vanilla, and I’ve tried tons of brands of plant protein. I love that the vanilla flavor is complementary and subtle, rather than overpowering. Vanilla was also way less chalky than Chocolate in my opinion, and blended better. As for chocolate, I’ve had way better chocolate protein powder than this. Flavor felt off now matter what fruit or plant milk it was mixed with.
You can’t beat the minimal ingredients in this. No gums, probiotic additives, fillers, or flavoring besides the ingredients themselves. So many plant proteins try to do the most and brand their powder as “superfoods” which just ends up being way too much on the stomach. I love that Truvani is simple, and all organic too.
Now for the negative… it’s not very affordable. If they lowered the price $10, I think they’d sell far more and make even more than they do. Paying $50 for 20 servings is hard in this economy. I recognize that high quality isn’t cheap, but I still feel they could profit at $40. Maybe I’m wrong… thankfully Whole Foods has it on a big sale sometimes which is when I will try to buy it.
Overall, fantastic plant protein… my favorite thus far. But expensive. I’d buy way more if it was cheaper.

I bought a single packet to try, and was disappointed with the sweetness. It is very very sweet, although it says 1 gr of sugar and no Stevia. There was a but of a matcha taste and some typical vegan protein tasye,but sweetness overpowered everything. It did not mix very well and remained grainy.

Very impressed with the quality of ingredients by the Truvani brand! I have had issues with delivery but Amazon has excellent customer service for refunds! I had to buy at other stores but it’s worth it. I LOVE that this is organic, dairy free and no gums, fillers or toxic ingredients! Personally I love the chocolate flavor! It’s more of a malt chocolate shake taste, instead of classic milk chocolate.
The formula does have a powdery after taste no matter what flavor you buy and it suits the chocolate flavor best. So BLEND THOROUGHLY in a blender, not a shaker countainer or it will clump. Also, finding the best organic nut milk transforms the taste, so never use water! I’ve found the vanilla to be the worst tasting, the vanilla chai to be decent and the chocolate to be best! This formula is helping me balance blood sugar and loss weight! Don’t discontinue!

I was drawn to Truvani because of their clean ingredients and low sugar. However, to commit to one flavor after not trying it before made me hesitant so this variety pack was the perfect way to get a taste of all the different options without waste. Each one is 10/10. The flavors are all extremely subtle except the chocolate peanut butter. Not heavily potent but I enjoyed the subtle chocolate flavor. All others were outstanding. It blends really well with almond or coconut milk and makes great protein pancakes! I felt like I was eating cake! Highly recommend these!!
