This red rolling walker comes in a big box and, true to its description, it’s fully assembled. Watching the video ahead of time that is on the product description here on Amazon is helpful. The box basically fell open by my front door and I yanked the item out of it and that was that. So great job on making this easy to use right away.

The pluses are it’s sturdy, it rolls great with those big front wheels, the braking and slowing choices work fine, it looks ok for a piece of medical equipment, and the seat is very comfortable. I can see sitting on it for a couple hours with friends over coffee easily. I like how easily the height on the handlebars adjusted. With 7 height choices, it was easy to find a good one. I’m 5’5″ and the 5 setting allows me to stand comfortably straight using the standard height one (rather than the Tall choice).

To get through a narrower area or to put it easily in the backseat or back of a vehicle, it literally does fold with one hand in seconds and a click indicates it’s locked so it doesn’t un-fold as you’re trying to put it in the car or wherever.

In addition to a very touchy knee, I have a good deal of vertigo which keeps me from taking long (or really even short) strolls that would improve one’s fitness. I anticipate that with his, a long walk won’t feel hazardous and if I want a short break, I have a seat right with me.

Mobility is critical and this product is well designed to keep people moving! I ordered a second one just to keep in the car. (There’s even a color choice which is a nice touch.)

I checked this out, prior to purchase. A number of the people who attend church with me, recommended this specific product. We have not been disappointed. We have had other iDrive walkers before, but this one is the best yet. My mom took a very bad fall that landed her in ICU. This walker has helped her to gain her independence faster. It is considerably lighter, yet functionally sturdy. It folds very easily into a compact size for moving it in and out of a car. I loved that it came already assembled, out of the box – that was a big surprise to me. This walker moves very well and steers just as well. The seat is comfortable, and I was able to get a cup holder (very inexpensively) for this specific model. I really like that it has 3 separate settings that provide better control on elevations. Our driveway is on a slope, and she lost control going down the driveway. Obviously two if the settings are full speed ahead (at your own rate) and full brake. The middle setting puts tension on the wheels so going down hill is controlled. The overall construction is better than expected with brake lines hidden in the framework. I would buy this again. Thank you and God Bless.

Apenas un par de semanas de uso, pero buen desempeño y muy práctico, solo lo siento un tanto debil al subir las varillas a la altura máxima de las empuñaduras.

Very nice walker, very well made and folds nicely to put in car.
Needed something with larger wheels than the one we had so that I could take walks down our gravel driveway which is a little over 300 ft long.

Having another Drive product I was expecting a good quality product. Unsatisfied with the lack of product measurements I looked at the product website for more information, still unsatisfied I called the company they said the distance between the frame at back legs/foot area is 19″ as well as at the handles. With great expectations we made the purchase. Chose to return within minutes. The nice padded seat is 18″ including the seat bars. Inside the frame at seat a hair shy of 18.5 inches, less where you adjust for handle height. Inside the frame at the inside back leg foot area is only, a hair shy of 18.5 inches not the promised 19inches and yes this does matter especially as that is behind the 2 very important foot curb steps so that means the actual space is smaller, more like16.5. Behind the handle flare it’s 17.5 inches space between handles. Center to center handle width is 18.75 at the widest point where handle flares out. So the [empty] space between handles is not the 19 inches indicated. These measurements are important when you are trying to get the best fit for a persons needs.
Wonderful having the foot curb assist on both sides, however on the tall with the handles all the way up as needed, when using the curb assist on either side the whole rollator frame was askew and wobbly unlike my other rollator, unsettling. Tested when handles where all the way down and this improved.
The new brake system for me did not stop any better. The slow down is a great feature.
The large backrest with viewing window is a great upgrade and moves independently of handles, a great thing. Nice having 4 choices with the caring bag, 3 rollator positions and a caring strap.
There was also a issue with the front right wheel not turning/moving properly.
This was not what I was expecting for a suggested manufacturer retail price of $594 Canadian. yes Amazon is a deal if you can use the handles all the way down and don’t need the frame as wide as stated.

I am 81 years old, having balance and strength issues. I want to stay active but have fallen several time the last few years. I have a hospital supplied folding alum walker; it is ok indoors, but not outdoors.. It lacks some features I want. I want a seat in case I have to wait for a ride. I want large front wheels for safety on grass. I want capability to maneuver through narrow spaces. I want as light weight as possible.

Within the past year I compared various rollators and eventually came up with this Drive Medical Nitro Sprint Rollator, model 10266. Nitro has capabilities I was looking for: seat, large wheels, side-to-side folding, 20# or less, I am 5’1” and female. I ordered Standard size in Black. Placed the order about a month ago, was shipped the following day and was delivered the day after. I opened box and began trying it out. No assembly needed (not a decision point for me). Easily adjusted it to fit me precisely. Can sit with feet on the ground, can stand upright between handles and walk between handles with a normal gait.

First thing I did was pick it up. Was prepared to return it immediately if I couldn’t lift it. Various descriptions of this model had various weights, so I had to try it out.

    Amazon, pay attention here.

It weighs about 20#; I ride with Uber, so driver must hoist it into vehicle for me. Various drivers may be husky or frail. So far, so good.

Hospital-supplied walker can accommodate a tray (purchased separately) for carrying items such as food, books, drinks, etc. Nitro accommodates a tray (purchased separately) onto its seat only. Neither of them can have a tray attached while folded. Therefore, tray is only useful at home for me.

In addition to my pocketbook, a crossbody shoulder bag, very small, I carry a “saddlebag”—a fairly large purse—on my hospital-supplied walker. Use it for carrying “necessities”, like flashlight, water bottle, garage door opener, book, change of underwear, etc., it hangs on my shoulder when walker is folded. Nitro recommends NOT hanging anything on it. Therefore have to have saddlebag on my shoulder or resting on seat at all times when using Nitro.

The Nitro is very sturdy; it rolls very smoothly and quietly indoors and out. I just press a lever with my foot to go up a curb. Tried it on grass, works fine up a grassy incline. I lean forward slightly when going uphill, a little backward when going down and hold “slow down” brake when going down. Had a learning curve about operating brake. When new, I parked it at top of my driveway without setting handbrake. It rolled down the driveway and out into the street in no time! Now I set the handbrake every time when it is parked.

The Nitro is versatile in its folding strategy. I can fold it by lifting up the handle on its seat and it folds side-to-side, just like a wheelchair folds. I can navigate narrow hallways and can push it ahead of me when entering a church pew (when there is enough room in the pew. It will stand upright when folded, don’t have to lean it onto anything. I can swiftly open it when conditions permit just by pushing down on the edges of the seat.

Now for a comment about the bag. The bag hangs either in front of the seat or behind with two little fasteners on the bag and two pegs on either side of the seat. Has a handle atop bag. Good if you have enough free hands. Bag come with a shoulder strap included, but no way to hook shoulder strap onto bag. Zipper is flimsy, needs stiffening behind the zipper. Takes two hands to zip and unzip around corners. Bag must be empty…or off pegs… when Nitro is folded. Bag absolutely useless to me.
Oops, didnt realize bag is supposed to fit onto handlebars. Haven’t tried that yet. Will update this review later

    Hope this helps.

I ordered Nitro clip-on cup holder and Nitro Cane holder when I placed order for Drive Nitro Rollator. Will review them separately.

Long story short: I cut off the hangtag yesterday. Nitro is mine now.
