Summer Infant Deluxe Comfort Folding Booster Seat, Grey

I bought this for my 7 month old grand daughter. I wanted something small, compact, easy to clean, easy to fold down, easy to carry and travel with. It is exactly what we got and for 15 bucks I couldn’t be happier. Before I bought it I had read one of the reviews, and was a little concerned about how the tray was difficult to pull off. My experience is that when the wight of the baby is IN the chair, and the chair is secured to a chair as directed, the tray is VERY easy to pull off. When the chair is empty, or if you don’t have the chair secured by the two straps then YES the tray is difficult to pull out. That issue proofed to be no problem.
The ONLY thing I can see that MAY be an issue to SOME consumers is the small size of the chair. It i small, but it is very sturdy and durable.( And SMALL is something I personally needed to save on space) If you have an older/larger toddler the high chair would be small or grown out of very quickly, but then you could switch to the booster seat. And again for 15 dollars it would still be worth the price.

I liked the ease of setting this up as well as the security when it’s attached to a regular chair. The tray is easily adjustable’ wide enough for fun with small foods as well as room for a cup, bowl, & spoon. I also like that as my granddaughter grows, the legs can be adjusted to her height as a booster seat at the table without losing any of the security of her in the chair or the chair itself. It is super easy to wipe down & disinfect with a simple sponge or cloth. The color is cute & while the back pad is a bit thin, my granddaughter doesn’t seem to mind. I like that all of it is easily accessible for cleaning when open & in use & folds down nicely when not needed.

I bought this for my granddaughter instead of a full size chair because I’m on a budget, plus we don’t need more furniture in our small kitchen. So far, so good. The price was Great! The other chairs of this type were all twice as much! I’ve only had it a little over a week, but so far it seems pretty sturdy. There are straps that wrap around the back & under the seat of your dinning chair to secure the seat. They do a good job. My granddaughter is quite bouncy & active, but the chair stays put. The tray is pretty easy to remove & re-attach, just makes sure you has it real straight and slide it on evenly. The whole chair is plastic, but thick, sturdy plastic & I doubt will break easily. The chair is a boosted seat when you don’t use the try, so my granddaughter will be using this until she can sit in a regular chair. I will up-date about durability, or if I have any problems. I can’t comment on ease of folding & traveling, as this is our main feeding chair, & will probably not be moved or folded any time soon. I only have a couple of small cons for this chair. one: the slip cover on the back is crap & basically pointless. I think maybe it’s just there for looks. It has no padding & dose not stay attached well. Not a big deal, tho, it’s not a lounge chair. For the small amount of time she spends in it at meal times it is comfortable enough & easy to clean. I think they should just skip the slip cover altogether & just print the plastic if they want it to be pretty. For myself, I don’t care, it could be plain white as long as it does it’s job properly. Which brings me to my other con. Again, not a huge deal, but when you spend a lot of time with a baby, & all the different types of stuff they have these days, you learn to appreciate the stuff that is well & thoughtfully designed. Especially the different restraint systems. My biggest complain with this chair (& half the stuff my GD has), is the ease of releasing restraints. I understand that they need to be locked in a way the baby can’t undue, but I know that they can be easier for parent/grandparents to release. Not that this one is “hard”, but my mom, the babies great-grandmother has arthritis in her hands & pushing those stiff buttons in is a bit of a pain for her. I wish these companies would realize that the parents are not the only ones that care for these babies. Grandparents do A Lot of care giving!! And many of us grandparent (or great-grandparents) have arthritis or other strength issues, especially in our hands. Give us stuff that we can release easily, PLEASE! The Fisher Price My Little Lamb swing has the best ease-of-use locking mechanism. Easy to close & release, & quiet, too!(but still secure!) All the baby product makers should model after that harness lock!! I also wish the straps on the harness came from a bit higher up on the chair so they fit her better. But they still work fine. The harness is secure, the chair is sturdy, the price was GREAT, and my granddaughter has no complaints. So, yes, despite my little nit-picks, I would recommend this chair, especially if you are on a budget. It is sturdy & will get the job done well for a good price!!

This seat is great, easy to install and light weight. It packs up for easy storage. The only thing I don’t like is that the seat cover only hooks in the back and not on the bottom as well making it very easy for my little guy to twist and take it off. Easily cleaned and adjusted for baby. Can use it with or without the legs to adjust the height. Great product!

I am now going through two grand children with this high chair. They come to my house often and it’s just on a chair at my house. it’s not taking up space or anything in my house. It’s sturdy it belts to the seat.Perfectly!! And they both enjoy sitting in it! Very pleased especially for the price!!!!
