My dog really enjoyed this. We filled it with treats, and since it is kind of soft, she had trouble getting the treats out. It is durable, and it kept her entertained for hours!

Ce sont d’excellentes alternatives aux jouets de mastication. Ils sont durables. Vont au lave-vaisselle. Parfait pour chiens de taille moyenne.

I got this for my 80 pound Greyhound. He’s a pretty large dog and greyhounds have a large mouth and sharp teeth for their size. He has a standard size Kong, but it was a bit small for him. This seems like an authentic Kong and if you have a larger dog is the size you need.

Tengo una perrita chihuahua de 2 kgs. Todos los juguetes de perro le quedan grandes. Este fue el tamaño ideal para ella

I have a 7.5 month old golden retriever. I have never met a dog who can destroy a toy in less than a day but my sweet Honey is the exception. I have purchased toys made of wood, rubber, nylon, silicone, you name it, I’ve tried it. With her toy basket looking slim, my husband turned to his K-9 training friend and asked what he recommended trying; without hesitation he said “KONG.” My husband immediately placed the order. Since receiving the toy, my Honey, is constantly entertained. The toy can be filled with treats for reward / brain challenge, its fun to fetch and has a super bounce as it hits the ground, but most of all, it is indestructible. She has had the toy since April and there is no sign of wear. It is in perfect condition, easy to wipe off / clean, and her favorite toy. I inserted an image as proof, she’s obsessed, she even sleeps with the toy!

My dog chews on this occasionally as a toy without putting food in it, but there are better toys that he prefers. He does enjoy it a bit more when I put dry kibble in it and it drops out randomly. But this gets placed on another level when I freeze food in it for when my dog needs to be left in the crate for a good period of time. Mentally stimulates him and gives them something to look forward to in the crate. 4 stars only because it is kind of hard to clean 100% due to the interior ridges.

I vaguely knew of this product from a friend who used one years ago with his dog. I really had not thought about them again until we got our two newest dogs who would eat their food too rapidly. We bought these as a method to force them to slow down while eating. We tried both putting their Farmer’s Dog food in them and freezing them as well as just putting the Farmer’s Dog food in them without freezing them. Both methods work well but the freezing method absolutely makes them take longer. On that same note, these are very useful for keeping your dog occupied while you need to get non-dog-related things done. A large Frozen Kong would probably buy you a full hour of keeping your dog busy. I’ll also note that, if you follow a number of dog trainers on youtube, you’ll very commonly hear that the Kong is considered one of the safest things you could leave in a crate with your dog safely. I’m guessing most people already knew about these, but if you’re a new dog owner and have not heard of these, go by five or six of them today! We have two dogs, so I have four small Kongs for quick treats, for medium Kong for feeding and keeping them occupied, and two large Kongs for trying to give them a significant amount of food in one meal but forcing them to eat slower. All dogs are different, so we have one dog that will virtually clean the Kong to like new condition, while her sister quite often gets lazy and doesn’t even eat halfway into it. The lazy dog simply waits for us to open the crate andrealize there’s still food in the Kong so that we can dig it out and put it on a plate for her. I’m not sure who’s training who!

As a dog owner who values both quality and practicality in pet products, I recently had the opportunity to introduce the KONG Classic into our furry family member’s toy collection.

One of the most notable aspects of the KONG Classic is its multifunctionality. Acting as both a fetch toy and a chew option, it adds an element of unpredictability to our play sessions, keeping our pup’s interest piqued and ensuring ample physical activity. Its erratic bounce during fetch games is particularly amusing to watch, eliciting excitement from our furry friend every time.

What truly sets the KONG Classic apart, however, is its stuffable design. By filling it with treats like kibble or peanut butter, we’ve transformed routine playtime into a stimulating experience for our dog. The added challenge of freezing the stuffed KONG beforehand adds an extra layer of mental stimulation, prolonging the enjoyment and providing a satisfying outlet for their natural instincts.

Moreover, it’s reassuring to know that the KONG Classic comes highly recommended by veterinarians and trainers worldwide. Its robust construction and ability to promote healthy play align with our desire to provide our pet with safe and enriching toys.

Cleaning up after playtime is also hassle-free, thanks to the toy’s dishwasher-safe design. This ensures that maintenance doesn’t become a chore, allowing us to focus on what truly matters—quality time spent with our furry companion.

In conclusion, the KONG Classic for Larger Breeds has seamlessly integrated into our dog’s routine, offering a balance of entertainment and functionality that’s hard to come by in pet toys. Its durable build, interactive features, and vet endorsement make it a worthwhile investment for any dog owner seeking to enrich their pet’s playtime experiences.

My son’s dog is big and strong. Toys don’t last log before he pulls out the stuffing and the squeaker. These Kongs are strong. Wet soak some of his dry dog food in water and then stuff the kongs with it. We put them in the freezer and give him the kong the next day. This is great for him on a hot day. It keeps him occupied for about an hour or so. He enjoys trying to get the food out.
