I have 2 cavapoos and 1 of them has straight up poodle fur which gets matted easily and I end up having to shave out the matts. The other ones fur is a mix but it works just as well and is amazing for his tail too which usually he hates having brushed. I figured I would give this a go and I’m definitely not disappointed. It was really easy to break up the matts and pain-free for my pups too. The design is great with the thumb hold it makes it a lot more comfortable to use and because the ends of the brush are rounded i dont worry about it accidentally hurting my boys. I even ended up buying 1 for my mum as she also has 2 cavapoos and she said its amazing the difference she sees from just using a regular brush to this. I do recommend getting a good brush as well though, because while this breaks the matts and knots up, its a lot easier to get rid of the residue by using a brush after breaking them up rather than doing it by hand. Without a doubt a well deserved 5 star.

I have a standard poodle who always loves to tangle her ears. This tool makes it super easy to untangle and remove matted fur. I’ve had it for two years now and use it almost every week.
The grip is comfortable and the blades are still sharp and work the same as the first day I used it.

Wow! I couldn’t how good this comb works. I didn’t want to like it! It’s pricey! Someone said it gets at the under coat. I didn’t understand that till two days of use! Wow, so amazed. I used to have a Husky and all my desheders didn’t work on my Australian Shepherd mix. It pulled at her hair and she would get upset. This comb, done slowly and gently, puts her at ease. The grip and thumb support really make the comb easy to use. It’s a good size and the hair just falls off for cleaning. I highly recommend this for long haired pets!

For the price of $15 it is so far a brilliant tool for long hair dogs. The description says can be right or left hand used. Was concerned when I read a review that said this is only good for use with right hand. You simply undo the nut on the end (I used an 8mm socket), remove the blades and spacers, put it back together with the blades facing the opposite way they were, tighten nut. Unfortunately it isn’t convenient if you have both right and left hand people wanting to use the same tool so I will be ordering a second one to have both configurations. ***Quoting the price after an item from a different seller I reviewed had its price ridiculously tripled after I had said it was worth the price.

This comb works like a dream. My long-haired cat developed mats and would not let me remove them with any brush I had. I tried using scissors but worried about cutting her skin, as she became very agitated when I had someone hold her for me. BUT THIS COMB SOLVED MY PROBLEM. I could cut through the mats gently, without pulling on her skin, getting rid of the mats while holding her with my other hand. I highly recommend it.

I really like this brush, I like how there is a “sharpness” to the comb that it helps remove the matted fur. I use this on my long hairs cat, I would say it might be better for poodle type fur, does not remove all matted areas. But overall happy.

I never write reviews but this was amazing. My curly haired golden got matted quickly from swimming in the pool and his grooming appointment is a week out. I watched some of the review videos and used it on him right when it was delivered. It was super easy to use and the mats are gone. My husky is a long haired wooly. She has like 40 coats. She clumps and lumps and gets horrible knots during long term shedding. This not only gently allowed the knots to be untangled, it removed her entire undercoat without damaging her actual hair coat. It didn’t pull and snag so she didn’t have a melt down. It is perfect.
