I received this product a few days ago and opened to use it for the first time today. As I had read, it was easier to use scissors to trim off the top of the capsule than twisting it with my fingers. When I squeezed though, only liquid oil came out and ran all over my fingers and hand. I tried to catch most of it in my palm and used my other hand to dip my index finger in the oil and apply to my dog’s gums. It was messy and I ended up feeling like I had more on me than on him. So, I called the number on the bottle to see what I could do to remedy the situation – like would putting it in the refrigerator help. Kristen, a customer service rep, acknowledged that when their product is stored at different temperatures (like could happen at Amazon or through shipping), it can separate and once it’s separated, it won’t go back. She said it doesn’t change the efficacy of the product and if I had been putting it in his food to help with his joints, it would have been fine the way it was but she said that since I was applying it to his gums, she would send us a new bottle right from their warehouse. I was so grateful! I will update later as to our experience with whether it helps his inflamed gums, but right now, I am one very thankful customer – especially as this was a significant investment at $65.

Need pliers for the “twist off” and then have to squeeze out thick pasty and fishy smelling stuff. One of my dogs got diarrhea after only one dose. The item is non-returnable and therefore no refund. The manufacturer won’t honor the 100% satisfaction guarantee because this is an unauthorized dealer. Buy at your own risk!

I just received this supplement yesterday so I am not able to report any benefits at this time. I will return when/if I notice the intended benefits. I do know it will be a while b/c it can takes time to undo years of damage.
In the interim I am thrilled to report that these small heart shaped capsules are just amazing! They’re easy to handle. The tip doesn’t twist off easily and so I recommend using a pair of scissors.
I was worried the contents of the capsule was going to be an oil and that it would run all over the place. Instead I was happy to find that it’s a paste which isn’t too thick or thin/runny. The paste is easy to squeeze out and onto a Q-tip which has made for easier application to my cat’s gums rather than trying to apply it directly from the capsule.
I don’t seem to notice any smell from it but I’m not sure if my cats do or not. They sniffed it & didn’t repel from it but they also didn’t want to lick it right up either.
Regardless of their indifference to the paste I was able to easily apply it to their gums w/out much fuss which was very nice.
Every cat owner knows that kitties dislike having their mouths opened. But
I find it’s easier to apply the paste to their gums when they’re a bit sleepy.
So, if you’re having a hard time just wait till your fur baby is napping & then gently lift their upper &/or lower lip to apply the paste w/a Q-tip.
If it still proves to be too difficult I would just squeeze it into their wet food, try applying it to a treat, or put it on their paw so they’ll lick it off.
I gave it 4 stars only because I have just started using it and don’t yet know about it’s effectiveness.
Even though I’ve just started using it I highly recommend trying it b/c I have read a few scientific studies about 1-TDC & the science behind it seems solid and not only for feline/canine use but for people as well.
I just wish that it was far more affordable. COVID-19 has hit my home hard so this is an absolute luxury at this time. Fingers crossed as I pray for the best outcome. 🤞🙏🐈😻 Best wishes to everyone & happy holidays! Please remember to wear a mask, use social distancing, and to stay home when possible. Remember, a virus travels in spit, snot, and mucus so it does not pass through holes in a mask. The spit etc. get caught in the fibers of the mask. So, the theory that the virus passes right through isn’t true. Also, it is a combination of wearing a mask and keeping a distance of 6ft or more between yourself and others that helps to greatly reduce the risk of asymptomatic and symptomatic people from passing it on as easily. I have a 14 yr old greyhound. Greyhounds have notorious teeth and gum problems. My sweet girl has been suffering. Her gums were an angry red swollen mess. A vet wanted me to pull all her teeth. I just couldn’t. In desperation, I called my previous vet to see if there was anything else I could do. He told me to try this product. In 3 short weeks her gums are NORMAL! All the red swollen tissue is gone. She is eating better and her breath doesn’t smell like death anymore! It’s just short of amazing. I highly recommend trying it if your dog has gum disease. Apply it directly to the gums as instructed. But, be patient. At first I thought it wasn’t doing anything. I am so glad I stuck it out. 3 weeks is nothing if your dog gets relief from pain and disease. I am so grateful to the makers of this product. It is truly a life saver. Thank you!

This product helps my cat so much! She moves so much better.; it’s obvious she’s not hurting as much.
I didn’t think she would eat it; she does not like new things and is very finicky. She loves it. Thank you so much for this product. I’m sure it would help her teeth, too, if she would let us put it on her gums. She will not even though she likes it. This product was recommended by Chris Poole of Cole and Marmalade. I usually don’t try things recommended on a video but I really trust Chris Poole. This product is fantastic.
