Good value for nice variety of feed..

We have placed several orders over time as our favorite brand for our two feeders. But lately, there is notably less sunflower seed and contents is dusty.
Barbara Good –
Smelled fresh. Birds love it. Will purchase again.

Smells musty and has unknown clumps in it. Mold clumps? Blackbirds and starlings don’t seem to be interested and songbirds are pecking at the other near empty feeder. Smells like dirt. Can’t return, $42 down the drain.

I like the fact that it is easy to order and delivered right to my door. We get many beautiful birds to our feeders because of this seed. It provides me with many hours of watching our feathered friends. One of our feeders is the kind that is clear plastic, and it adheres to the window with suction cups. Some birds that patronize the feeder have become a bit possessive about it. They stand in there and stare at our two small dogs, who, of course, have to challenge the birds who challenge right back, knowing they are safe.

More than half of the bag was soaked, it had this smell of ammonia like urine. It was shocking that this was shipped and felt stolen of $70. The box in which it came, was completely dry and undamaged which shows that the bag was already soaked when put it.

This bird seed was well received by the wild birds in my area. I saw all types of song birdsโfinches, sparrows, cardinals, various Blue birds, Oriolesโฆeven a crow! Will be buying again.

I only order this when I can’t go to my local feed store which sells bulk quality wild birdseed in 40 lb bags. I’ve seen pet stores selling trash birdseed that often is full of powder from crushed seeds and junk filler seed that a lot of the birds and small animals that visit my yard ignore. This particular item Wagner Variety Blend has a lot of different nuts and seeds that don’t come in my usual Leach Grain wild birdseed so it’s like an extra treat for my little bird/animal friends although too pricey for me to buy 120 lbs of the stuff like I do at a time at the feed store.
Finch –
Comparing this to the only slightly cheaper bag of feed that I got at a local hardware store, I found that this feed is cleaner, better packaged, and of better quality, with peanuts and more sunflower seeds in ratio to millet and small grains. Will order again!

Tried other seeds. Get more and large variety with this

I feed daily and canโt get the product then I have to substitute. I donโt like that. If itโs posted the product should be available.
Melissa J Coghlan –
When I opened the bag I discovered that the seed was moldy with a very foul smell. At first I thought maybe it was just meant to be like that but then I dumped it all into a large container and realized that it was all clumped together, wet and rotten all the way through. I tossed the entire bag in the trash knowing it would make birds sick if they ate it. I read other reviews after and saw that some other customers had the same experience.
Jenna R Storey –
Sad to say that the seed was moldy and clumping up due to moisture in the bag. Had a very obvious mold smell when I opened the package (outside thank goodness). Wish I could return it as I wonโt be feeding it to the birds. They deserve better.
