My cat tries to escape for the first thirty seconds or so, every time he wears it. So far, he has never succeeded. I wish the leash was a foot or so longer, but it’s nice and lightweight. It really doesn’t seem to bother my cat after the initial rolling around and scooting on my cement patio… it’s not even showing wear and tear from all that yet. One thing worth mentioning is that it seems very escape proof, so I wouldn’t leave the harness on the cat unattended. I feel like if they got caught on something, they wouldn’t be able to get away. It’s definitely not a breakaway collar. My cat has put it through some pull tests chasing bugs. I do like it very much, though. It feels secure.

This is my cat’s favorite type of harness for eating grass outside 👍👍

Our kitten is small. Maybe weighs 4 pounds by now. I had ordered a different harness at first but, had to return it as it was way too large. This harness is small enough to fit her and is adjustable to accommodate her growth. Can’t say she’s crazy about it yet, but I have only used it twice to take her outside. She was a stray that my daughter found in the woodpile. That’s the first place she went. Have no idea where she came from but, no one responded to my post about a lost kitten. She’s ours now and “free” kittens are not cheap!

The halter is very sturdy, but lightweight. Our two cats are a bit smaller than most cats so it’s hard to find a halter that is lightweight enough. Very happy to find this one. It fits them great, but could be easily adjusted to fit a bigger cat or small dog. It’s not bulky or cumbersome for them. It is well made, not cheap material. Highly recommend.

Did not fit so couldn’t use

My kitten is 9 months old, about 8-9 lbs. I take her out to walk on leash and literally take here every where with me. This is the 5th harness I’ve tried for her. She would break out and take of her other harnesses in 20 seconds. Literally no other harness could keep her from taking them out, but she could not get out of this one even once! It’s 100% scape proof. And she’s surprisingly free in it. Not only it doesn’t bother her, but she doesn’t even notice it when wearing it. I love it. Good job on designing such product.

Easy to put on cat. Now to leash training! I bought a longer leash so I can put her in yard.

I have an average sized cat. Way to small.

Just don’t be stupid. If you put it on and pull from the front, most any cat can slip out the back unless you make it really tight. But if you remain beside your cat or behind her/him, then they can’t get out of it. I got the cheapest one in red/reindeer Christmas design after the holiday because my cat doesn’t care what she looks like in her harness. She desperately wanted out, and now she can go out BUT she doesn’t walk like a dog. She darts at things, then hunches down. If I tug to get her to move, it ain’t happening. I pick her up and move her to new spot. It’s like learning patience all over again from when I had toddlers. A lot of standing and waiting. The harness does what it’s supposed to do and works fine.

Works great for my sphynx. Easy on off with the clips.

The best harness I’ve gotten for my cat so far, and the cheapest. Yet it is the most effective by far. My cat was able to wriggle out of his previous harnesses before, but, so far, he hasn’t been able to with this one, though he did get close one time, but that was more due to giving him too much wriggle room in the first place. I think it is also far more comfortable for him, as he doesn’t run away when trying to put this one on, as the others one I had to make the head hole as small as possible so he couldn’t escape as easily. One possible improvement I think might be to give the leash a little more length, because my cat, and from what I’ve seen a lot of cats, like to roll around outside. This causes the leash to get twisted around their body, which means you have to bend down and untangle them. Now, my cat is perfectly fine being a little tangled, so only having to bend down every other time would be a godsend. But you could also probably just use your own longer leash.
