Worked great the first time, after that it didn’t cut. It leaves a choppy cut on my puppy. I took proper care after the first use, blade can’t be dull after one cut? And I am an experienced home groomer. Very disappointed in this product. Spend the extra money and buy a better brand. That is what I am doing!!!

I bought this for removing large mats my sickly senior cat gets on his back since he stopped grooming himself. It took a little bit of time to work through them, but they were pretty big. I’d much rather use this tool than try to cut with scissors, it’s a lot safer for his skin. Cats have extremely stretchy skin and it’s too easy to cut them. I’d say for the price it’s well worth it.

I have two cats that are getting older and because of that, they’re now struggling to maintain their coats. I checked out a few different clipper sets on Amazon and decided to try this one out!
First of all, the set looks very clean and modern, and it came with so many different head options to help with different fur lengths and styles. I was very impressed with the scissors and comb that came in the kit. They’re both made of steel and the scissors were very sharp. I was able to cut through my cat’s “beard” without any difficulty. As for the razor itself, I didn’t use any of the heads due to the matting my cat had going on. It cut through EFFORTLESSLY without catching my cat’s skin, and it didn’t get too hot at any point.
The kit was extremely easy to use and I am very happy with my purchase.

I don’t write reviews. This exceed my expectations. I have a geriatric long hair cat who’s fur got matted because he is arthritic and has problems bathing himself. I’ve tried brushing his coat out and using scissors to cut the mats but I’ve only ever got part of the mat out or I knick my poor guy. This trimmer is gentle and silent. The cat wasn’t afraid at all. It cut through all the thick sticky mats. I was able to do half of the cat before he got too fussy. I will let him rest and complete the job tomorrow. My only regret is I didn’t purchase this sooner and he had to live with these uncomfortable mats for so long. I can’t wait to try it on the dog as well.

I’m a breeder of Persian cats and this was exactly what I was looking for! It trims great it’s very safe and it’s not very expensive and easy to use. It works great on just removing mats with the medium size shaver and it’s not too loud. I have some $300 shavers and all kinds of gadgets, you try things and you try things. It’s nice to find something that actually works and it isn’t expensive.
