My longed haired tabby was shedding his winter undercoat and because of that, it was raining fur in my bedroom, so I searched online and found this brush on Amazon. Let me tell you, the amount of fur that came out of that cat, was eye popping. I decided to leave the puff balls outside for the birds. This brush works magnificently. Easy to use, he had his eyes closed and he was loudly purring.

I have multiple cats with long and short hair. This brush is available for both coat types. The cats enjoy the smoother tips of these brushes compared to others. They seem to accept this more as petting than brushing. It is simple to clean but you have to touch the loose hair. There are other brushes available that dispense with the hair without ever having to touch it but my fur babies do not like the ends of the bristles. They always get what they want.

It can remove a lot of loose fur, but its design lacks a collection feature, causing the fur to scatter everywhere during use. Additionally, it cannot effectively remove all the fur, so after using it, you’ll need to brush with a regular fur removal brush again. Also, I feel that the packaging is not sturdy enough. I purchased it twice, and both times the packaging arrived crushed, resulting in some scratches. Additionally, part of the packaging is exposed, leading to a lot of dirt accumulation.

We have two small short haired cats that don’t really shed much but they enjoy being brushed. Originally I had a cheap brush from somewhere else that worked fine (it removed excess fur) but the bristles bent very easily and it quickly needed to be replaced. A friend recommended this brush and I scoffed at the price at first but decided to give it a try. Boy am I glad I did! This brush is very sturdy and well made, unless we loose it I can’t see needing to replace it any time soon. But best of all, and most importantly, it does an amazing job removing excess fur, especially from the undercoat. In 5 minutes I had enough fur from one cat to make a whole new kitten! The cats love it and are excited to be brushed and while I thought their coats were fine before, I definitely see the difference and how much healthier and softer their fur is now. If you have any pet that required brushing don’t waste your time with the other brushes, go straight for this one and you won’t be sorry.
