everything is great but it advertises self dimming throughout the day time when instead it holds at a certain temp and their is no on/off switch which sucks but i’m overall happy it gets the job done so can’t complain too much

I have been using these lamp fixtures for about a month and I’ve been really pleased. I have tested them with a surface temp gun and ambient thermometer and the gauges appear to work well for heat regulation. I am using them with Arcadia heating bulbs (which just barely fit) and have had no issues with the dimming functionality. I also appreciate the small form factor. These fixtures are narrow enough at the lamp opening that I can put them close to each other to concentrate heat in a smaller basking area. My only suggestion for improvement would be an on off switch. Unless I’ve missed it, there is no way to shut these off. I fixed that problem by using a Kasa smart power strip to plug them in and can use the switch on the power strip to turn on and off, as well as setting a timer for automatic on/off. I would recommend this product.

I got this lamp for installing a deep heat projector (50W in my case, so I knew the wattage would be fine) to heat one of my reptiles enclosures. Bulb fit perfectly as it should!
The instructions provided were pretty easy to follow, I think, if you read it as you set it up. The thermostat also seems pretty accurate, as I have compared the temperature measured with the included thermostat alongside an infrared laser thermostat and they read the same value- this is a big relief for temperature control!
My only con for this is that I wish there were an on/off switch component to the lamp, as that would make it easier to remove without worrying about either unplugging it and having to reset it every time or it burning whatever I place it on while the lid is off.
That said, it’s very functional and a good price for so much functionality.

Worked great for 2 weeks and won’t get up to temp. Thermostat just blinks in open defiance. It worked perfect and all at once it just won’t heat. Brand new bulb as well before someone asks. Long story short I would pass on this one due to its garbage longevity.

This is great! It’s nice having the thermostat and lamp in one compact package, and it does a good job at attenuating the heat from the deep heat projector lamps I use. The thermostat isn’t totally accurate, but I’ve adjusted to it and use a temperature gun to make sure I set it to the right temp.
