ASTRAL AETHOS –
I love this sand. The lizard did, too. It was a beautiful color and a good texture. It felt clean for a long time and didn’t clump badly with spritzing. I would definitely buy this again!

My hamster loves this sand to do their business and shower. Sand is also safe for them and won’t warm them in anyway unlike other things like powder.
10/10 would recommend

Works well mixed with reptisoil in my bioactive leopard gecko enclosures

Perfecto para el terrario

This sand worked out nicely for some itchy quail, who took to it almost immediately. The sand works out nicely in that it doesn’t provide a great deal of dust upon being used and can be repeatedly used for quite some time.

I bought a bunch of hamster cage accessories from a video where a YouTuber assembled an incredibly enriching enclosure with them. My hamster is quite happy, he is a Beverly Hills hamster. Search for “Hercules obliterates a massive tree” on YouTube if you’d like to see what came of these purchases 💫

A very fine sand that could be used for an hour glass. Great for mixing into soils for plants that require drainage and is not coarse and heavy for all of it to end up at the bottom of the planter. Also great for controlling fungus gnats by layering at least 1/2” of this sand on top of the soil. Once wet, the sand locks together with the water surface tension and feels solid but water drains through easily. There is no chance for gnats to go in or come out.

Bought for rabbit to play in as he loves to dig. Not too dusty. Nice sand.

This is exactly what I needed for my aquarium! It is very fine grain size and is very black with a little bit of natural sparkle to it. 20 lbs gave me just over an inch of coverage in my 20gal aquarium. It really makes me artificial plants pop and under a blue LED will make my gfp axolotl look great!
Fair warning, if you are using this as aquarium substrate, wash this sand at least 3 times! I ordered 20 lbs of this as substrate for my axolotl tank and washed it in a 5 gal bucket until the water ran clear. I let it settle, then washed it again. Then I transferred it to my aquarium and 48h later, I’m still waiting for the dust to settle/get filtered out of the water column. It’s common for sand to be “dusty” but this stuff definitely needs a little extra washing before it’s ready for aquatic use (but it’s not marketed as aquarium sand and once it’s been washed clean it’ll be prefect so I’m not docking any stars).
TLDR : Great value for price, nice dark color with some sparkle, wash multiple times if using in aquariums

Works good and is as described. Had a hole in both bags I received. Not a big deal to me as it didn’t have bugs in it and I was able to use the whole bag in a sitting

I wanted to make a sand pit for my Kenyan Sand Boa.
I tried play sand from Home Depot first, but it was very dusty and filled with rocks.
It’s hard to find a reptile sand that isn’t calcium sand (not good for snakes). So when I found this, I was excited to give it a try.
The first bag arrived at the post office with a hole in the bag and leaking sand out of the box. But Amazon/the seller were quick to send out a new bag for free AND let me keep the open bag.
The sand is a little bit dusty when pouring out, but a fraction of the dust the play sand had and is to be expected.
My sand boa LOVES it and uses it daily!
I liked it so much I ordered the other two colors for My other two sand boas, and they are equally great!
