Small manageable.

Pros: love this backpack for easy in carry and lightweight. Easy to grab and go or pack in a carryon.
Cons- if you wear a tank top it rubs at my shoulders (smaller build female) and hangs almost too far off. Not padded. It does NOT have a chest strap to keep it secure either and not made for running or even fast hiking- bounces a lot- and thatβs only with 2 standard bottles of water for my hour hike.

Β I am hoping this little backpack will hold up for my hikes. It arrived conveniently folded up into a small cube size, as you can see from the picture I posted. I simply had to unzip and unfold it. Will I be able to fold it back into the small square that it was when it arrived? We will definitely see, but it does not look promising! LOL!!
The zipper on the front pouch was misaligned when it arrived, so that took a little work to fix. I hope it will stay attached, but the zippers are plastic and donβt feel very durable.
Overall the backpack has lots of storage and is lightweight. The straps are adjustable and come unattached. I canβt wait to try it out this weekend to see how it holds up for my first mountain hike using it. Iβll come back and update after Iβve used it.

Here’s a very handy lightweight backpack for day trips and short hikes. The compact size is great for storing in a car, tent, or even a large coat pocket.
There are two side mesh pockets for water bottles or snacks and one deep pocket on the front for holding small to medium sized items that require easier access. The two mesh pockets are approximately 5.5 inches (14cm) deep and the front pocket is about 6 inches (15.2cm) wide and 10 inches (25.4cm) deep.
The main pouch is approximately 16.5 inches (42cm) deep and has a mini pocket on the inside toward the top that is great for very small items. This mini pocket is the pouch that contains the whole backpack when it is folded up.
On a recent biking trip with this backpack, I was able to carry two water bottles, a light jacket, a large brimmed hat, a wallet, a phone, tissues, wipes, a couple of bike tools, and several snacks. With the backpack full of stuff, it was slightly uncomfortable because of the lack of padding on the straps and at the back, but it was definitely better than dealing with a heavy bag or no backpack at all. It probably would have been just fine if I didn’t fill it all the way up with my stuff.
I am quite content with this compact backpack and I would recommend it to anyone seeking a lightweight bag for day trips and short adventures.

This backpack came in a small little pouch. It opens up into a pretty good size backpack. It was sturdier than I expected and can hold quite a bit. I took it on a cruise and it fit conveniently in my suitcase and it was large enough to take my beach towels, snacks and snorkel on a shore excursion. The the little bag it comes in, fits nicely in the top of the backpack, so you can put small things, like money, keys, and cards in it. The only problem I had, was getting the backpack back into the small pouch. I managed to do it, but it wasn’t easy. It’s nice that nice that it’s compact, but a little bigger pouch would be nice.

This is a small back pack, it was perfect for a train ride and sight seeing trip! Had my drink, map, umbrella, flip flops, etc. and folds into a tiny little square

Took this into the city last week as a museum walk around bag. Had a couple of waters, two energy bars and a phone battery bank in it. It was fine, but not super comfortable. Had hoped to be able to use it in Italy here in a few weeks but second guessing that thought process. Very light though. Might be more comfortable on a thinner framed individual.

The pack with the gray sides (in the picture) is the pack I am reviewing. It is a nice pack for day use. You can get some essentials for a quick hike, a day travelling on vacation, or running about town locally. But this is small, so for situations where you need more gear, this won’t work. I bought this for my son’s personal carry item for an upcoming flight. You can see (pic) where I put his cap on top and use that and my hand to get a sense of size. I also put it next to my daughter’s standard size pack for comparison. This little pack is too shallow and narrow to carry what he needs. It looked larger in the pictures on the product page. But this is great if you want a lightweight, SMALL pack, that folds into its own attached pocket.
