3D 3D Interior Cleaner – Removes Dirt & Grime

Usually a Meguiars user (and still am for everything else) but I was searching high and low for a matte finish, non-greasy cleaner for my seats and dash. I tried this based on a reco from a local detailer. It works perfectly when paired with the conditioner as step 2. Not sure if it will protect as well as the more oil-based leather cleaners but we’ll see.

Cleans well enough.

I got a loaner from Tesla since my car needed some stuff fixed and it grossed me out so I put my cleaner to the test and as you can see from the picture it works really well. That is literally one wipe.

I tried Colourlock Mild leather cleaner and degreaser, Gyeon Strong leather cleaner, etc.

This is in my experience the best leather cleaner I have ever used. It is a cleaner and more importantly a degreaser. This cleaner will leave a matte finish, which is amazing.

I use this product with a detailing brush or microfiber sponge. I agitate the area, then use a damp towel with distilled water to wipe. I then use a dry microfiber towel to clean the area. This product leaves a nice matte finish.

This product has a very nice smell and just can’t get over how good of a leather cleaner it is. Colourlock’s products cost a lot and in my experience, the mild leather cleaner would leave a sticky residue, and the de-greaser as well. Also the mild leather cleaner you need to be carefully with as it can make vinyl surfaces shiny if you by accident come into contact with such a material.

1 gallon of LVP (Highly concentrated, needs to be diluted) costs as much as a ~7oz bottle of mild cleaner, yet LVP is a superior cleaner to it.

I got a 2012 Range Rover Autobiography as a project car at the beginning of the pandemic because I’m familiar with working on them & had time to kill.
The leather was in new condition, except! The dealer put that nasty slippery waxy leather coating that smells like crayons on, that all dealers apply for lord knows what reason & nothing ever gets it off.
I gave up from 20-22 on getting it off because it didn’t bother me much until one day someone got in my car & said “why does it smell like crayons in here” I just had it & decided I need to have it like l it was when it was new so I figured I’ll try this & when I ordered I thought meh it will be like other brands I tried before and would do not much but worth a shot, wow was I wrong..
It stripped the wax clean off, got the leather back to the mat look smooth yet rough texture Rovers come with from the factory & it smells incredible. It smells like the brand new Cadillac leather my grandfather had on his Deville when I was a kid back in 2005 or so. I will say I didn’t spray it I dumped it on a cloth every few wipes and brushed it in then rinsed with a wet rag and water bucket. Worked like a charm highly recommend but you def need to use more than what they say on the bottle. Either way not liek this is a regular thing to do so who cares.
Bottom line works incredibly well so I’m thrilled 😁
Oh & the friend said “wow the crayon smell is gone and it smells new, how’d you do that??” 😉

I use this frequently on all of my vehicles & even years down the road, the leather smell stills comes through when used regularly, once every couple of weeks sprayed on the carpets in the cars. Would highly recommend.

Bought this to go along with the LVP conditioner that is my go to interior product. The cleaner works great but does need to be rinsed/wiped with water after use. That may limit where you decide to use it.
