I have a PC and Macbook on my desk and I use both for work. Connecting them is a KVM switch so that I could port my monitor, keyboard, and mouse from one computer to the other with the press of a button. The concept is perfect, the problem was that I needed to use a hub/adaptor to connect a USB C and HDMI cord from the KVM switch to the Mac. So it worked perfectly on my PC, but when I ported the monitor and keyboard over to the Mac they would only be recognized part of the time. I replaced the old hub with the Acer adaptor and everything works flawlessly. I recognize that my description might sound convoluted to most, but the bottom line is this is a high quality and reliable adaptor.

Works just fine, I can use my phone as a touchpad and open apps on my TV like YouTube. What I can’t figure out is how to transmit audio from my phone to the TV. Currently struggling with that.

Impressive how this adapter supports 4K resolution at 60Hz. It makes extending my MacBook display to my monitor very smooth, enhancing both work and streaming experiences.
The adapter functions perfectly with my MacBook Pro and iPad. It is good to find one solution that covers all my USB-C devices.
The feature of 100W PD is sweet; I can charge my MacBook while using the adapter, which helps declutter the cables on my desk.
The additional USB 3.0 port was a nice touch, since this allowed me to connect my external SSD when needed, along with other peripherals without requiring additional adapters.

This splitter is fantastic. I got a new laptop that has 1 USB, 2 USB-C ports (1 is for charging), and 1 HDMI port – that’s it. Well, that makes it hard to use the laptop for actual work (in my case grad school work). This splitter effectively adds 1 more of all the types of ports I have. It works like a charm and with plugging in one of my USB items like my keyboard or mouse, and the monitor. The screen on/off option is also great and easy to use.

Can’t recommend any of these Acer adapters enough. I have several stand alone, and this is my second with multiple. Strong build, great performance, and no yet discernible reason not to hope for good durability.

El adaptador funciona perfectamente, permitiendo la conexión de dispositivos a través de HDMI y USB estándar, sin perder la capacidad de cargar el dispositivo al mismo tiempo gracias a su puerto de carga USB-C. El diseño es compacto y robusto, lo que lo hace ideal para llevar en la mochila junto con el portátil. En cuanto a la calidad de la señal, tanto la conexión HDMI como los puertos USB funcionan de manera fluida, sin ningún tipo de pérdida o interrupción.
Funciona bien con el Chromecast para ponerle un pendrive, aunque el botón de encender/apagar la pantalla en este caso no hace nada. El puerto HDMI no parece apto para móviles más sencillos, lo probé en un Google Pixel 6a, Samsung Galaxy A15 y Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro, y en ninguno funcionó. Quizás es por la falta de potencia o que estos móviles no soportan la salida de vídeo. Sin embargo, con la tablet Samsung Galaxy S5e no hubo ningún problema.
El botón de encendido/apagado de la pantalla funciona perfectamente, lo que es un extra interesante. En resumen, ideal si necesitas un puerto USB extra y mantener la carga, pero no lo busques para el HDMI en móviles.

Ho deciso di acquistare questo adattatore con la precisa intenzione di collegare il mio tablet al televisore sfruttando la connessione HDMI 4K.-

E funziona senza tentennamenti anche con il telefonino collegato alla TV.-
E’ dotato delle tre porte di maggior utilizzo quotidiano, caratteristica che ne fa un oggetto immancabile nel nostro zainetto porta pc.-
La porta usb supporta il protocollo OTG.-
E’ leggerissimo, quindi perfetto per i viaggi in treno dato che le tre porte funzionano anche contemporaneamente.-
Il costo è competitivo, anche se a dir la verità l’ho visto venduto a un prezzo molto più basso.-
Ciò non toglie che resta un ottimo prodotto, consigliatissimo anche a 25 euro.-

Acer USB C to HDMI Adapter is a step up from ordinary HDMI adapter and is similar to the Apple USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter, but at less than half the price. It even says it’ll work with Apple products, but as I don’t have any here I can’t say for certain. It’s very well made and I like the feel of the cable. The adapter works flawlessly and I was mirror my Android device as soon I plugged it in. When plugged in, the button on top will light up. There’s a USB-A port I was also able to attach and use the flash drive on my Android device too. If you’re afraid mirroring will cause a high drain on your device, fear not as there is a USB-C port you can attach a charge cable. So, what about that lighted button on top I talked about earlier? The button cuts the feed to the external monitor. It’s great for presentations and really convienient.

after having found pleasantly easy-peasy use with the Acer USB-C to HDMI adapter on my iPad, i figured that i’d try my luck with this USB-C to HDMI hub. i am happy to report that it worked without needing extra power, plug and play, with immediate screen mirroring and options rolled out as promised on my new 2024 iPad Air. very happy. all accessories should be this way. less thinking, more doing. wrong brand, but you get the gist. and at a fraction of the cost of the OEM module.

Bon rapport qualité prix pour ce produit indispensable dans bien des cas. Les ordinateurs récents étant pauvre en connectiques.
Le bouton permet de déconnecter l’écran de la prise HDMI sans avoir besoin de le débrancher physiquement. Ce qui est plutôt pratique.
L’adaptateur propose donc un port USB-C PD permettant la charge, une port HDMI, et un port USB-3.
Il est un outils de voyage parfait pour la Switch qui évite de déplacer le dock pour les voyages.
Très bon produit malgré une finition un peu légère (ça sonne creux et l’assemblage est perfectible), même si le produit est en aluminium. Ce qui est signe de qualité.

This is really simple to use. I use it with my Samsung S24 ultra, and it’s pretty cool. You just plug it into the phone, and plug in a hdmi cable and your set. With this phone, it turns your phone into a mouse pad, and your tv/monitor into a pc style look. It doesn’t mirror your phones screen, it allows you to open files or apps on your TV, while your phone is just a black pad looking screen that you use as a touch mouse pad. You can still use your phone as well by closing the mousepad screen. So I can play a Netflix show through the phone onto my TV, and then use my phone to browse Amazon or whatever app I decide to use.
There is only 1 button on here, and that just hides your screen, or turns it off actually. So if I don’t want Netflix to be on the TV, I just hit the button and the screen goes black, press it again and it’s back on. You can also plug in a USB c cable to this and you can charge your phone while it’s being used, so you don’t lose you charging abilities when you plug this into your phone and TV. The only thing about this is that if you charge your phone thru this while it’s displaying on your TV, when you unplug the charger from this device, it disconnects you phone from the TV as well. It’s like it resets this, or turns it off. You will have to unplug it from your phone and plug it back in. Or unplug the hdmi from this this device and plug it back in. Other than that, I have no faults with this at all.

A very versatile device to have if you want to hook up a monitor with HDMI. The fact that it’s flexible with USB A & USB C is great, as devices nowadays, especially older ones, are operating with different connectors.
The video works snappy and instantly and fast which is the mark of good internals.
