I was a Maguire guy for years until their easy breaking containers finally drove me to shop around. Imagine finding a caveman simple great product in a round container that naturally fits your hand. This stuff is easy to pour on and then wipe off as opposed to Maguire’s mess and concrete setting style.

This is a great product that would make a nice addition to anyone’s detailing collection. I don’t exactly jump for joy over some of the Adam’s stuff, but the Buttery Wax I definitely do love. It’s got to be the easiest wax I’ve ever used (and I’ve used almost everything.) It makes waxing your vehicle enjoyable, and has a very nice scent to it as well. My car is a true daily driver, and I don’t always have time to keep the paint finish perfect in between the times I polish. This stuff is perfect for that “in between” period to keep the paint popping. It goes on and comes off very easily, leaves a nice carnauba glow, and the finish has that smooth/slick feeling we all love to have. If you maintain it correctly, I’d say you can get a solid 3-4 weeks of protection out of this before you have to re-apply. And that’s pretty darn good if you ask me, considering this is a liquid wax that’s so easy and fast to use.

The first thing to know is this a carnuba wax. As such, it is not super protective nor does it last but about three months. Why then?, you ask. Because, I answer, it is fun! and it is gentle on the paint. There are zero abrasives, nor polymers to cause hazing. To get best results the paint should be clayed prior to application of the wax but after a good washing. BTW, Adam’s car shampoo is by far the best wash product available at this writing. The wax is easy to apply in a thin, even layer. I use it on the paint, chrome, and the rear window. I suggest to not use it on the black trim. Adam’s has a great dressing(VRT) to use on that. NOT ALL IS ROSES! This wax takes a bit of effort to remove. More than say, Chemical Guys Cherry Wet Wax, but less than Mequire’s Yellow #26. Hope that gives some perspective. I like the results and it is worth the effort.

It’s work really well, even when I did it with only a microfiber cloth. Second time I used a power tool to help. Only thing about the power tool is I saved time, cause even with just the microfiber cloth, it was REALLY shiny.
