Très heureux des bottes. Belle qualité, facile a enfiler. Attaches efficaces.

I find these boots to be very comfortable and even when new was able to wear them all day. Shortly after purchasing them, I rode all day in a steady light rain and that evening my socks were completely dry as compared to my buddy who literally poured the water out of his boots.
The price I paid was very reasonable compared to even used boots for sale on the web. Very happy with my purchase. I did spend quite a bit of time researching boots and found these to be considered one of the top choices. They are a bit noisy when walking around, squeak almost to the point of being embarassing, but I can walk in them quite easily so I did not need to remove them for short walks.
I wear a size 9.5 to 10 and ordered a size ten and they fit perfectly. Some say they run large but I tried on a size 9 and they were just a tad too small so would say they run true to size.

These boots are super comfy , i love to have my feet in them . They are just quality through and through . They are not stiff like mx boots but you do not feel as protected either . The buckles are very sturdy . They are a little warm in the summer but they are boots after all . I would highly recomend these to any one who rides sprint enduro or hare scramble . They also have tread on the soles they are not slick bottoms like mx boots . Alpine stars can be expensive but in their case you really get what you pay for , Quality .

These are some great enduro boots, NOT 100% waterproof, but they get the job done. I wouldn’t trust them through a river crossing but the are fine for hitting some wet / muddy trails and decent puddles. Super comfortable and easy to ride in. Mine have a squeak to them… but i just put some wax on the plastic part that was making the noise and it stopped squeaking.

I’m a size 13, ride a 2012 Vstrom 650 and have feared making the transition to ADV boots for a year now because I’ve already had issues shifting with a sturdier hiking boot. There was definitely a bit of getting used to the motion of moving the entire leg ish to shift instead of being able to easily articulate my ankle but after that the advantage of the boots were clear. There is so much more work the boot is doing for you keeping your legs in form than I anticipated, it takes a lot of the effort out of standing and with rider fatigue in general. I was able to have increased confidence and start sliding around the first time off-road with them, amazing!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I am so glad I found these boots. I tried Forma and Sidi, but for my wide-front feet, the Alpinestars were definitely the best fitting by far. If you haven’t worn MX boots before, it will be a weird feeling until you get used to them, but these things are ultra-protective, and honestly I don’t have much trouble getting around in them now. It took some adjustments to get used to braking and (especially) shifting, both personal, and on the bike itself (adjusting the shift lever), but it’s worth it.

Protection: I’ve gone down a number of times with these on. Just a few: had a 25mph low side gravel crash on my GSA and slid about 15 feet. Shoulder and ribs were toast, but my legs and feet were fine. One time I wedged my leg between the wall of a small ravine and my DRZ. I had knee braces and these boots on, and I laughed about that low-speed crash. Nothing damaged on either me or the gear, whatsoever. Yesterday I had a 0mph downhill fall-over on my DRZ and the bike fell right on my leg. Again, no damage to me, or to the boots. Lots of other minor falls and get-offs.

I have not had the opportunity to test waterproofness other than crossing a probably 12” deep creek on the DRZ, and that was 100% fine, naturally.

For all the protection they are incredibly comfortable once you work your foot down into its nest. As someone else here said, it’s like your foot is wrapped in a supportive pillow. I will stick with Alpinestars Tech7s if I ever need to replace these amazing chunks of thermoplastic and other high-tech materials. I wear these guys anytime I’ll spend significant time in low-traction environments.

I did alot of research before purchasing these boots. After receiving them I am happy with my purchase. Very little break in time needed. Great protection for feet and ankles/shins. Money well spent to protect myself. Some may say “they are too expensive”…….well so are doctor bills and rehab! Protect yourself! You only get one body in this life.

Great boot. I have put 10,000 miles on BDRs in the last 6 months in this exact boot. Fit is very comfy for my foot. Have worn 16 hours at a time. White is my color.

I currently ride with the Oneal element squadron boots, black& red (they’ve dropped $75 since I bought them). I previously had two pairs of Forma adv boots. Sent both pairs back, worst boots I’ve ever owned. The soles literally fell off in less than 3 weeks on BOTH boots. Stay away from forma.

I love the O’Neill boots, but they’re not waterproof. They are not overly comfortable, but there is nothing uncomfortable about them. I love the way they look. I’ve had them for a year and a half and they are still holding up great, pretty much look brand new.

I bought these because I’m tired of getting soaking wet. I siliconed all of the stitching and sprayed an entire bottle of waterproofing on the O’Neill boots, and they still fill up in about 5 minutes of heavy rain.

Just opened these up, and I had flashbacks of my forma unboxing: looks nice at first, but as you study the boot all seems have glue seeping around the edge, we can see where the installer smeared the glue away off the leather, smudges all over the place, we’re starting to get a little worried..

Then I put the boot on. Let me rephrase that: I carefully installed my protective boot pillow. At least, that’s what it feels like. The entire boot is like an alien tentacle laced with memory foam that carefully engulfs your foot and strangles you with comfort.

The only issue I foresee, is the shin guard where the star is. It is freaking huge. I have a feeling I’m going to have troubles getting my pants over that.

It’s actually so bulky, that I’m considering cutting the entire top piece off the boot and riveting a flat piece of plastic with the buckle on it so that my pants can fit over the boot.

After checking the boot some more, the top buckle does not line up properly. Since I wear pants over the boots, I will probably just cut off the entire shin protector all together and get rid of the top strap.

I have Fox knee/shin protectors if I feel I need shin protection.

I will have to try them and update the review as needed.

After readjusting the boot for the best fit with casual pants underneath (my riding pants go otb as I frequently ride in rain), there is no possible way I can get the top strap. I have no choice but to cut the shin protector off. The last picture is the strap alignment with the boot properly adjusted. I’m on the slim side, but the boot is absolutely as tight as it will go while I’m wearing pants, and it’s still not completely tight. In order for me to make this boot feel like it is fitting properly, I would have to wear my riding pants with all of the liners installed under the boot for the boot to sit properly. There is one major issue with this: this boot is supposed to be waterproof. There is no possible way this boot can be waterproof, if your pants are in the inside of the boot. This is a MAJOR design flaw. If you are not comfortable cutting half your boot off, but you need waterproof boots, DO NOT BUY THESE BOOTS.

My fix: I had no choice but to remove the shin strap. I will be contacting A.S. engineering about this.
