Wir haben schon einiges an Geld für diverse Liegeplätze unserer Hunde ausgegeben und es waren richtig gute dabei, welche auch nach 3 Jahren noch fast wie neu sind und so manches, was heute schon gar nicht mehr da ist.
Der Donut von Amazon Basics erfüllt alles, was ich von einem Liegeplatz für den Hund erwarte.
Geliefert wird der Donut in weiten Teilen vakuumverpackt, was Platz auf dem Transport spart.
Beim Auspacken ging der erste Griff an den Bezug, welcher so flauschig, weich und angenehm ist, dass man sich am liebsten direkt selbst reinlegen möchte. Der Clou an dem Bezug ist, dass das mittlere Kissen und die Umrandung nicht aus einem Stück, sondern zwei Teile sind, welche auch im Bezug in zwei separaten Abteilen eingebracht werden.
Die Reisverschlüsse hierzu machen einen robusten Eindruck und sind leichtgängig.
Das Befüllen des Bezuges geht spielend leicht.
An der Unterseite hat der Donut noch Anti-Rutsch-Noppen, was aber eigentlich Standard sein sollte. Ganz so “rund” wie auf den Produktfotos ist das Endergebnis nicht, was unseren Hunden aber relativ egal sein dürfte.
Kaum hat der Donut den Boden im Wohnzimmer berührt, stürzten alle 4-Beiner direkt drauf los und der Gewinner der Reise nach Jerusalem lag schon 2 Sekunden später völlig zufrieden im neuen Schlaf- und Ruheplätzchen.
Sicher wäre das Angebot einer Größe > 100cm auch noch wünschenswert, aber selbst in den Donut mit 91cm passt ein Galgo / Windhund ohne Probleme hinein.
Ich bin sehr gespannt, wie der Bezug nach dem ersten Waschen aus der Waschmaschine kommt.
Unvermeidbar geben die Hunde natürlich Schmutz und Talg aus dem Fell ab. Das der Donut aber aus 3 Teilen besteht und Maschinenwaschbar ist, ist ein absolutes muss und der neue Standard für zukünftige Anschaffungen von Liegeplätzen.

This is a generously sized dog bed that my dogs seem to enjoy. It has enough filling to make it comfortable, and at 13.5 lbs, the 45”x45” bed is one of the heaviest pet beds I’ve owned. The removable and washable cover is a big plus for easy cleaning. The only drawback according to my dogs is the edges, which aren’t very high. My dogs prefer beds with taller bolsters they can snuggle up against. The lower bolsters on this bed would be more suitable for small-medium dogs.

My dog loves this bed! It is extremely puffy and very soft to the touch. It retains heat very well, and is a good size for a small dog. I would say that it does retain dry dirt in the long plush hairs of the bed, so vacuuming/washing it regularly is important.

I joke that these beds are sprinkled in some kind of magic fairy dust, because they have honestly been magical for my anxious dog. He will curl right up in it and stay there, even when we are practicing departures for his separation anxiety.
I now have three of the same style, two from the pricey name brand and this Amazon Basics version. They are basically indistinguishable from each other. The Amazon version perhaps is a bit less fuzzy/quality of the faux fur isn’t as good, but they are A LOT cheaper. The interior is similar, though not exactly the same. The name brand has two bolsters that prop up the sides, while this version has a single one. However, it is just as easy to put together, as this one unzips across the entire circumference of the bed.
Overall, definitely worth the price, definitely worth the purchase if your dog is anxious and needs somewhere to calm down and feel safe.

I bought this bed for my cats and right away they loved it and starting sleeping in it. It’s actually heavier than you would think and I think that shows how good the quality is. It is not just lightly stuffed with padding. I got the bigger size 36 x 36 which may be a little to big for my living room but I just had to make some room. Look at the first photo for a reference. The supply vent on the ground is 10″ long

Und riesig ist es auch, vor allem für nur.. eine Katze. Sehr groß, braucht aber gute 24 Stunden bis es richtig aufgepolstert ist. Danach kann man den Bezug drüberwerfen, und fertig. Sehr flauschig, riesig, angenehm weich, riecht kaum chemisch, riecht typisch neu. Die Katze liebt es über alles. Und ich vielleicht auch ab und zu.

I have been known to spend more on a dog bed than a human bed. I still have one, from a company famous for their dog beds (begins with an “O”) that was from my first dog, and it’s probably 10-15 years old. Now THAT’S a high quality dog bed.
I’m having some construction done in my house and carpeted floors are now stripped to plywood, so I thought I’d get some additional dog beds to scatter around.
I’ve got a 55 pound Lab and 75 lb Lab mix, and they both were eager to try out the bed. I was surprised that they both fit. The 75 pound dog is now back in the bed and he’s sort of stretched it out so that it’s an oval, and he looks quite cozy. I was afraid I picked a size that would be too small.
Now this isn’t an “O” dog bed. It’s on the thin side, and it’s lightly stuffed with poly stuffing that will, no doubt, become compressed in short order. The covering is made of some fake-y fake faux fur, but it’s soft and it’s not terribly unattractive. It’s perfect for my purposes, and it might be perfect for yours.

La mia Lunafreya dorme ai piedi del letto sin da quando era cucciola, perciò ho acquistato questa cuccia nella speranza che potesse cambiare abitudine.
Sorprendentemente ha funzionato.
È formata da un cuscino centrale e da un salsicciotto esterno, entrambi da inserire all’interno della fodera pelosa. Sono belli pieni e morbidi, così da tenere il nostro amico a quattro zampe rialzato da terra, al calduccio tra il pelo della cuccia.
Il fondo è antiscivolo, perfetto per evitare fastidiosi spostamenti quando il cane ci sale sopra o cambia posizione.
Nonostante sia facile da inserire nella fodera, perché risulti bella rotonda bisogna accertarsi di infilare il salsicciotto tutto in un unico senso, altrimenti tenderà a dare una forma strana, come ho scoperto la prima volta (dettaglio che si può notare nella foto che ho scattato accanto al divano per mostrare le dimensioni effettive della taglia da 91 cm). Con l’utilizzo si è assestata da sola, ma dopo averla lavata presterò più attenzione nell’inserirla nuovamente.
In conclusione direi che è super promossa!

La recomiendo para perros que pesen más de 25 kg 96 cm y por precio sale más rentable que la de 70 y algo. Se puede separar la funda para lavarla me lo pensé mucho y no me arrepiento de haberla comprado

I usually go with Amazon Basic products when I don’t care as much about quality but I just need something quick and cheap. This dog bed was much heavier and larger than I was expecting. I don’t know how much it weighs but the moment you pick up the box you’ll see this has more fill in it than the dog beds you’d get from the store.
I have absolutely no complaints about this product. I like the neutral color which hides most of the dog fur.

We have a Great Dane and Pit bull and they both love this bed plus they both fit on it! Even though they have separate beds they prefer to sleep on this new one. The bed was simple to assemble and the top feels so nice! I got the big size and honestly it could fit my bichon frise on there as well if they would let her. This bed is worth it!
