Transferred an old landline number I have had forever. This device connects your number to the Internet so you can take it anywhere with you that has a wired Internet connection and receive calls. Porting a number is a $4o fee. The service is around$5 per month and call charges are low. Great service.

I was hesitant to buy this, but I am glad I did. I purchased a refurbished version of the Ooma and for the minimal tax/fee per month (like $6 total), it is a very easy, no-fuss home phone. I even got to pick my phone number. I am very happy about this so far.

The factory-refurbished Ooma Telo looks like a brand-new box and the analog phone line is provisioned with a dial tone after initial internet hookup. It requires leaving the box couple of hours for the firmware auto-updates before finalizing the phone line provisioning.

I got this to be able to use my fax machine. In Florida the cost is $6.00 a month without the premium service. I thought I would be able to move my Google number over easily but it requires a call to ooma customer service

Bought this for my mom for voip when she got rid of her landline. She loves it and says her line is better vs the landline. I think I hear a faint echo on it when she calls but she’s happy so that’s all that matters! Can’t beat just paying $2 in taxes each month!
