The unit came as promised. Tho the graphics on the image in the post is not true to life. But the unit is a seagate 12tb 7200rpm drive.just so you all know in advance. AFTER FORMATTING I have 10.9tb usable space

Not sure if it was a faulty rehab or inept packaging, but I got a DOA drive twice. They shipped this highly sensitive drive in very thin bubble wrap inside a thin cardboard mailer. I can’t imagine shipping anything even remotely sensitive in such an unprotected enclosure. Maybe it’s a scam to write off faulty drives as damaged in the mail? Not sure, but look elsewhere!
Disappointed –
I have now returned this product twice. Whoever is renewing these hard drives is not doing a good job. Both times the product was recieved it was Dead on arrival.

I bought these used at around $260, which is a great deal for 2020. I recommend that you buy 2 of any drive, and use the other as a clone that you store in a different room in case your computer ever catches fire – which happened to me last year – but i did not lose any data!!

Be careful, drives are not open box ones. They are refurbished.

Dead on arrival, I guess this kind of thing happens, just don’t like it happen to me. At least Amazon gave me refund and the return process is easy. I purchased another western digital drive which works out of box, I found a few cases of bad Seagate drives but western digital drives are always good, well, just personal experience here
