Solid build quality, very affordable, will fit any pedal board. I suggest using the g-fuzz first in the signal chain and setting the effect level and volume to 10. Dial amp vol to a usable level and then have fun. I like to use my guitar volume for clean and fuzz tones, just like Hendrix did. Rates well among other more expensive fuzz/muff style pedals (Super Fuzz clone, Dunlop Hendrix Muff, Tone Bender, JHS Foot Fuzz) that I have. I would buy another

The tone on this pedal is too dark for me. If you like “woman tone” or “brown tone” this pedal is for you. Other than that, it’s an okay pedal.

I have had my eye on the plentiful mini pedals available these days, and I decided to try out this Amuzik Fuzz pedal due to its compact size and my need for a good fuzz at the beginning of my effects chain. I also like the simple, minimalistic branding as the pedal simply says “FUZZ”. I have to say my first impression is that I am thoroughly impressed! The build quality is fairly solid for the price. The metal enclosure is rugged compared to other plastic ones often found at this price point. This is likely the same exact pedal made in the same Chinese factory as other mini fuzz pedals with the same layout, labeled under other brands like Donner, Mooer, Rowin, VSN, etc. If my suspicion is correct, it is most likely has a circuit that is a clone of the famed Electro Harmonix “Triangle” Big Muff Pi, just with the locations of the Sustain and Tone knob swapped in this case. No issues with any of the pots, jacks or switch yet as I might’ve expected. This particular brand seems to be new on the market, so I’m sure they are putting their best foot forward with the build quality.
As for the sound, I have no hesitation giving it 5 stars. Although this is one of my first Fuzz pedals, I’ve played and owned many high-end pedals, including from EHX (upon which this is based). My other fuzz that I own is the made-famous-by-JHS Behringer SF300 Super Fuzz, and I find this Amuzik Fuzz to be much for useful and inspiring. This pedal definitely has more of a polyphonic fuzz circuit, so full chords are clearer and more pronounced. You can absolutely use this pedal for both lead and rhythm guitar, as it provides a thick yet crisp fuzz tone whilst playing single notes as well as strumming chords. It also has the tell-tale quality of a good fuzz circuit in that it cleans up when turning down the volume knob of your guitar. I have no doubt that it would sound great on bass as well. In addition, unlike other fuzzes, which may only sounds good with the tone and sustain maxed out, this particular pedal circuit can provide a relatively wide array of fuzz tones with many different useful settings of varying character and grit.
I would recommend this mini fuzz pedal to anyone looking for a small, inexpensive yet extremely useful fuzz effect on their pedal board. It’s also a great way to inexpensively try out a classic circuit used on countless albums. This pedal makes me want to check out many more effects of this mini pedal line.

Amuzik Chorus Pedal did not operate when it arrived. I checked all my hookup cables and it was a defective unit. There was sound out of the unit but it was only the dry, uneffected sound. The LED lit up when I pressed on the footswitch but the sound out of the unit did not change with any position of the control knobs. I considered opening it and repairing the unit but decided to just return it. I have built chorus units and am totally familiar with this type of circuitry, but replacement parts are difficult to find and can be expensive. There was no damage to the shipping box.

The media could not be loaded.

So as per usual with my reviews, this pedal has switches that switch, a button that button, and the knobs REALLY knob.

But just what is a compressor? Well, a compressor kind of compresses, but it also stretches, and sometimes thickens. Depends on what the dynamic it’s filtering is. If you’re playing soft, it makes it louder. If you’re playing louder, it makes it softer. Now, that’s a really, REALLY dumbed down version–the TL;DR is it makes everything sound more consistent across your playing–which for someone with never and tendon damaged hands, that’s a good thing!

Knobs: They knob just as knobby as you please. I really like turning the knobs on these type of pedals, it’s very satisfying. I don’t know why. Just feels good. Solid. Level, compression, and tone. Level adjusts the volume, compression adjusts the compression, and tone cuts or boosts the treble. All function exactly as intended and expected. You can cut all the compression out, and turn the level up, and use this pedal as a clean boost, giving you two pedals for the price of one. Versatility in a pedal is something I VERY much like, especially at this price point.

Switch: Now, you’ll see a lot of peeps say the switch does nothing. DONAE LISTEN TO THEM. They donae know what they’re banging on aboot. They assume it’ll boost the treble, in fact, it cuts it. Watch my video, you’ll hear the hiss from the amp cut out. No lies. It works well, and gives a subtle cut to the treble. So if you’ve got a harsh single coil twang, you could flip that switch and tone it down a touch. Nice feature for the Tele players out there. Also, switches very nicely, feels solid.

Button: It’s a stompy stomper, stomp it. Turns the pedal on and off. Not much to talk about here.

At the end of the day, I’ve gotta give it 5 stars. Why? It’s cheap, it does what it says on the tin, AND it acts as a clean boost, so it does MORE than it says on the tin. I get what I paid for and then some. How is this a bad deal? I tell you–it’s not. It’s a killer deal. What are you waiting for? Buy this pedal.

Pretty authentic Blues Breaker clone. I was able to dial in the same sound on this as another ~$100 clone. Unfortunately it’s extremely prone to picking up radio signals and it’s not a power issue based on the other couple dozen pedals that have been run on the same rig in the same locations.
