Norma Melchor –

I just started using it, but the taste is not that great unless you added to your tea. Which is what I did. I brought the vanilla it smells good , I have to get use to the taste.

This is the best protein shake I’ve had that’s Keto. It dissolved nicely using a shaker and I only use water with it. You don’t need to mix it with almond milk or anything else. The flavor is good enough with just water. It tastes good and it’s giving me the protein and fat I need as I’m not eating as much since on Keto. Highly recommend!

The other day, my family considered a doomsday scenario when Ancient Nutrition Keto Protein Powder stopped production. It was awful. Very dark. Very troubling. This product has impacted our lives to such an extent that we have considered stockpiling it (seriously). I’ve been having it 7 days per week for several years now and, somehow, I am not tired of it. On the weekend, we make waffles with it (yes, that actually works, and it’s incredible). I hope Ancient Nutrition never, never stops producing this product. If they do, there will be consequences. I have recommended it to so many people and will continue to do so. (So, yes, 5 stars.)

Tried this for a lunch today. Pleased with the flavor, and ease of use. Mixes nicely. I use a shaker cup with a mixer ball inside of it. After reviewing the product and other ones similar this one won out for the safe ingredients used. You can count on Dr. Axe products to be of the highest quality. This is one of the more expensive ones on the market. After comparing ingredients this is the one I chose because of the safety of the ingredients. That says a lot for me because I am always checking to see if a less expensive item is available for less money. I will purchase this brand in the future.

I should have read the reviews. Quality ingredients, I guess I thought it wouldn’t taste like it does haha. I had to choke it down and will continue to do so, because I don’t like wasting money. Holding your breath doesn’t even help – the broth is pungent and immediately had me at the store to buy some gum, so I didn’t repel people at work. Kind of sad about the whole thing, because I had high hopes with the 4+ star rating.

I love this protein powder! It tastes great, nice and smooth, and gives me enough energy for the day. Sometimes I put a little Mio orange flavor in it and makes it very tasty. I’ve been drinking this since I’ve been on the Keto diet and has helped me in losing a lot of weight. I won’t buy any other protein shake mix again. The ingredients are natural and healthy unlike other protein drinks which have whey in it which upsets my stomach.

I always hated shakes for breakfast. Other shakes sat wrong in my belly and left me feeling overfill until suddenly I was ravenous. They never felt like a real breakfast. This stuff, however, has won me over, and now I feel let down if I forget it and have to eat eggs and bacon. 🙂
BUT, it’s not without a kind of significant down side.
Pros:
-I like the flavor
-very satiating
-very easy on my gut, has improved occasional gastritis quite a bit
-no dairy (definitely NOT vegetarian)
-no pea protein/other grains/legumes (heavy metals)
-“safest” non-dairy meal replacement I would consider for ttc, pregnancy or lactation.
Cons
-not organic
-not even “free range”
-contains caffeine
Verdict: I use it reluctantly. I would be much happier if they could source their bones better. I’m also annoyed at their website, which weasels around the question of whether their bones are from free range animals — I’m left to assume that not only are they not, but the manufacturer thinks I’m too dumb to read the whole paragraph and interpret it properly. However, I’ve been eating organic and free range bone broths made at home for quite a while and have a very sensitive gut (thanks for all that baby food at six weeks, mom :-)). This stuff doesn’t hurt me, so it must be pretty decent. As long as I don’t meditate on the rage their website inspires…
