the glasses themselves are pretty comfy and i like the all clear look i got. i purchased these bc i have a lot of online classes in college and also play games a lot, so i stare at screen for a lot of the day. my eyes were starting to feel very strained by the end of the day and thought something like these would help. i wouldn’t say they don’t help at all but for me personally it just extends the time i can look at screens before getting that strained feeling. i still get the feeling regardless but its usually later in the day that i get it when wearing the glasses. maybe thats what there supposed to do but i feel like the advertising made it seem different. these are still pretty nice glasses but if you want something to completely get rid of your problems i would look for something else.

I’m on my computer pretty much 24/7 because of classes so I thought these would be a good idea to help eye strains from staring at the screen for so much. Loved them and they were nice for style. But the only problem was that I had these for almost three weeks and the plastic arms broke off.

    Background:
-I was spending a majority of my awake hours looking at some form of screen from both job and entertainment. I had chronic headaches and took about 2500 mg of Tylenol each day

-I heard about blue light glasses helping that but didn’t buy into the hype and didn’t want to spend money on an expensive pair – so I found these. Roughly $10-15 to see if it would help my headache. That’s fair to me.

-I have worn them everyday since November 2021 (it is mid Feb 2023 right now) and they recently broke

-I purchased a more expensive pair at the end of January (few weeks ago) since I liked these so much

-I returned for my first ever Amazon review after having a long time with this pair, and a few weeks of my more expensive pair

    What I Dislike:
    – It doesn’t take long to realize it is made from mediocre material – the screws have gotten a quarter turn loose once or twice.

-The plastic holding the lenses has broken about 1/2 the time I have dropped it. Cracked plastic, etc.

-The temples of the glasses are uncomfortable while wearing a hat and headphones (over the ear) and slightly uncomfortable with one or the other. They can also slide off your head while leaning over or looking down if they don’t fit tight

-the nose pads can get bent out of place and they were slightly uncomfortable for the first few days wearing them. They also are VERY slippery if you get sweaty. I tried wearing them while working outside in the heat and they couldn’t stay on for long.

    The Redemption!
-It’s made from Mediocre material? Yeah I expected that at $11, so I’m actually very happy with the fact that they lasted about a year and a half, AND I CAN STILL WEAR THEM.

-The plastic has broken? Well… user error. I shouldn’t have dropped them 15+ times in a year and a half.

-Temples I would actually say are still uncomfortable but they have lasted.

-The nose pads initially were an issue but I haven’t had to mess with them in over 9 months. They sit perfectly and I hardly notice they are there. I very rarely have to take my glasses off and rub my nose.

    THE BIG KAHUNA
The lenses are out of this world amazing. When I ordered these glasses, I was spending at least 100 hours a day looking at or near a screen of some kind. My headaches were preventing me from doing any productive thinking. Within 24 hours of wearing these glasses my headache was gone with two 500mg Tylenol. Within a week it was down to one. By a month I took Tylenol once in a while at random. Now maybe once a month or with an unrelated headache.

I have sensitive and dry eyes, so I actually wear these glasses during my daily events. They block a lot of wind and keep my eyes less sensitive, and even seem to be slightly helpful on sunny days (not that helpful tho).

Each time the frames have broken, the lenses remain untouched. I have used and abused the cheap suckers for over a year, and even when the lenses are filthy, there isn’t a single noticeable scratch.

I knew I needed another pair and figured since they were so helpful that I should invest in a better pair. I decided double the price might get me at least 20% better results (less headaches, less eye strain, dry eyes, etc)

I’ve had the new pair a few weeks and I’ve had a nonstop headache since the first day I put them on. The temples are significantly more comfortable, but the lenses just SUCK. The last week, I’ve put on these old glasses when I get a headache INSTEAD of taking Tylenol- and within two hours I’m back to normal. Yesterday I added 2 Tylenol with the glasses swap and it took about 45 minutes to feel better.

Don’t buy these if you are trying to flex your expensive headgear like a fancy pants. Buy them if you are looking at screens often and you get frustrating headache. It might help you less than me – but I hope that it helps enough.

Fun tip – it was more comfortable for me to wear the temples when I angle the glasses slightly. I raise the temples up and tilt the glasses down

Welcome back to another edition of Confessions from my Teenage Daughter

Today we’re are gonna talk about Blue Light Blocking Glasses. My daughter wanted a “pair” of glasses as this was the newest Instagram trend. As far as trending, this is not trending towards the recycling bin. Very cheap plastic and not durable whatsoever. The Blue Light theory after speaking too a few eye doctors, there definitely is an imbalance in theory. Most logically, limit screen time and give your eyes a break. Keep your device’s arms length from your face.

So I’m just blue about these glasses.

Thanks for reading from your “Unfluential Influencer”.

    Happy Shopping.

They work like they should, and look good doing it. But wow the lenses are not good quality, very reflective even on the inside. It was reflecting my eyes on the inside and distracting my vision through them. Lenses are also a green hue, not completely clear like I’ve had on prescription lenses with blue light filters in them.. 3/5. for $10, whatever

As a healthcare worker I am constantly staring at a computer screen which causes migraines during every shift I work. I have tried MULTIPLE kinds of blue light blocking glasses but these glasses in particular are one of my favorites. These glasses are lightweight and fit my face perfectly. They feel like they are made from good quality when they are on my face. I also enjoy these glasses because of the clarity of the lens and the light blocking effect that is causing me not to have migraines.

The lens was good, but I recieved a broken frame, the pad arm was broken & the nose pad is missing, i search the box for the pieces & it is not there, hence I conclude that they already knew it was broken before they ship it. Very Disappointed.

I started wearing these glasses for when I use my phone and laptop (blue light). My eyes are no longer strained, and they are stylish. Happy to recommend.

These blue light blocking glasses work and look great! I’ve definitely noticed a difference—they seem to be doing the trick in reducing eye strain, and I was able to sleep better after using them. The vintage half-frame style is a nice touch, too. Very happy with this purchase!

I’ve been using these glasses for a couple of weeks, and they’ve exceeded my expectations.

    Design & Comfort:
The vintage half-frame design is stylish and fits both professional and casual settings. They’re lightweight, so I can wear them for hours without discomfort, and the build feels durable.

    Lens Clarity & Protection:
The clear lenses offer great clarity without the yellow tint found in other blue light glasses, keeping colors accurate on my screen. I’ve noticed a significant reduction in eye strain and headaches, especially during long computer or gaming sessions. The UV protection is a nice bonus.

    Performance:
These glasses have helped reduce eye irritation and improve my sleep after screen use, making them highly effective for both work and leisure.

    Final Thoughts:
For their price, these glasses offer excellent value with their blend of style, comfort, and performance. I’d highly recommend them for anyone needing eye protection without compromising on aesthetics.

The media could not be loaded.

These glasses have been a game-changer for binge-watching TV and scrolling through TikTok without the dreaded screen-time headache. Plus, they’re a nice touch if you’re trying to accessorize without looking like you’re trying too hard. Just don’t expect them to survive a rough life, they’re a bit flimsy and bend easily, so treat them like a delicate flower. For the price, though? Definitely worth it. If you’re after something sturdy for the long haul, you might want to swipe right on a different pair.
