Not a deal breaker, but this device was pretty large – larger than what I thought it would be. But, it works. My water began clearing up within two days, and by day five was clear again! No more cloudy or green water. I would recommend this product. Set up was a breeze, I have it using the waterfall attachment simply because I already have a pretty powerful filter and didn’t want to give my fish even more resistance while swimming.

We must have a conversation about our fish ponds and or Tanks and the delicate balance of aquatic ecosystems, a world teeming with life, yet susceptible to the green scourge. The AquaMiracle Aquarium Filter emerges as a beacon of hope, a technological marvel designed to restore clarity and vitality to our undersea domains.

A Symphony of Filtration: This device is more than just a filter; it’s an aquatic engineer, meticulously cleansing and oxygenating the watery realm. With a flow rate of up to 200 gallons per hour, it’s a tireless worker, tirelessly purging the tank of impurities. The adjustable flow rate allows for customization, catering to the specific needs of various aquatic inhabitants, from the most sedate snail to the most energetic tetra.

The Power of Ultraviolet Light: The heart of this device lies in its 8-watt UV lamp, a weapon of mass destruction against the dreaded green water algae. This ultraviolet assassin obliterates harmful microorganisms, leaving behind a crystal-clear aquatic paradise. The integrated timer offers a customizable defense strategy, allowing you to deploy the UV light at strategic intervals, ensuring maximum efficiency and minimal energy consumption.

A Two-Pronged Attack: The AquaMiracle employs a multi-faceted approach to water purification. The coarse sponge acts as a valiant first line of defense, capturing large debris with the ferocity of a hungry anglerfish. The fine sponge, a microbial metropolis, hosts beneficial bacteria that break down harmful waste products, transforming the tank into a self-sustaining ecosystem.

A Breath of Fresh Air (and Water): Recognizing the vital importance of oxygen, this filter offers two modes of operation. In aeration mode, it injects life-giving bubbles into the water, ensuring the well-being of aquatic inhabitants. In rainfall mode, it gently showers the tank with purified water, creating a refreshing and invigorating environment.

A Cautionary Note for the Tech-Savvy: While the AquaMiracle is a marvel of modern engineering, it’s essential to remember that UV light can potentially harm sensitive aquatic organisms, such as shrimp and certain fish species. Careful monitoring and adjustment of the UV lamp’s operating time is crucial to maintain a harmonious underwater ecosystem.

The Verdict: A Clear Winner in the Aquatic Arena

The AquaMiracle Aquarium Filter is a technological marvel, a guardian of aquatic purity. Its combination of powerful filtration, UV sterilization, and adjustable flow rate makes it a valuable asset for any aquarium enthusiast. While the importance of responsible UV lamp usage cannot be overstated, this device has the potential to transform your tank into a thriving underwater oasis.

Note: The review incorporates humor through playful language (e.g., “weapon of mass destruction against green water algae”) and scientific references (e.g., “microbial metropolis”). It also highlights the importance of responsible UV lamp usage, addressing a potential concern for aquatic enthusiasts.

This was delivered to me on July 13th (picture 1) today is July 15th and it is crystal clear (picture 2)

I will say, it is extremely over powered as the tank this is in is only 3 gallons BUT I have no doubts I will be able to clear my 40 gal with some time if I ever need to!

My pond is in direct sunlight causing a florish of algae turning the water a milky green. The filter quickly clered up the water in three hours.

I ordered this aquarium filter for my guppy tank. It came with a couple of different option attachments allowing the possibility to connect the air pump to aerate the water as well as a “rainfall” attachment. Set up was quite easy and the instruction booklet was very thorough. I just use the rainfall as I already have a bubble stone in the tank. The device has a generous length power cord. Along that cord is the controller for the built-in UV lighting system to help clean the water as it passes through the filter. The remote allows for varying time settings for the UV system. The pump is fairly compact and has slots on the back for the three rubber suction cup feet. The cups hold the pump firmly in place. Having used it for a couple of days, I can already tell a difference and it seems to be doing a very good job. I think you would be quite happy with this filter / UV light system.

This cleared my aquarium water tremendously overnight and is continuing to clear the water after 2 days. I have a 55 gallon tank and it will take another day or two to become crystal clear. UPDATE: day 3 and it’s crystal clear!

    UPDATES
Not even a week and the device that I spoke so highly of no longer works. I put it on the 24 hour setting and evidently it died. I tried to troubleshoot for an hour and nothing. Stopped functions all together. Sadly I’m returning it and have to change my rating from a 5 to a 1. It worked when it did. But it didn’t work for long.

easy to set up. Loved that I could submerge it. I used it as an oxygenation. There are two modes. One is a waterfall trickle the other is a blast of bubbles. I went with that option.
I wasn’t expecting a miracle but the following morning the tank was crystal clear. This device worked better than my $100 75 gallon tank filter.
This device cleared up the water in hours. I was absolutely impressed. It moves a lot of water and left it crystal clear. I love it! High quality !

I like the fact that if feels heavy and seems like it would hold up long term. I was able to get it into a chamber in the back of my 30g aio tank. I haven’t tried it in a smaller tank so I’m not sure if it would fit. I’m not sure about the uv light. I plugged it in and I’m not sure the spectrum quite fits what I expect for uv lights. Seems almost whitish. The pump powered up easily enough and I’d say the flow through the filter is adequate. I don’t have a green water problem in my tank so I can’t speak to that, but I do have some nuisance algae that I’m trying to curb and I can say that I feel like there has been some die off there.
