I received this dash cam last week and really think it’s great. I had a previous dash cam from this company and needed another to an additional car I own, so I purchased this new upgraded one. I really like that this one has a rear facing camera as well. It records both at the same time. I own a Wrangler and it was easy to mount and run the wires for both the front and rear cameras. I like that I can see the video in real time on my phone if I want, but then I can pull up all the recorded video on my phone easily. It will continually record both front and rear video and write over the olds video when it is out of space. It records 1 min videoes for both the front and rear cameras. It connects to my iPhone as soon as it turns on. It announces that it is recording. It also has a large clock display. I also like that I can easily see it in the daylight, but it isn’t too bright at night to be a distraction. I would absolutely purchase this device again if I needed another one. Highly pleased and recommend it to anyone looking. As I see it, it is much better to have a dash cam to help in the event of an accident. If you press the button on it, it will lock the video it is currently recording so it is not erased. It should also lock a video clip if it detects an impact. This way any crash should be saved without it write over it when the memory card is full. Hope I never need this, but glad I have it in each of my vehicles just in case.
