So I’m a paranoid mama when it comes to my kids starting to eat solids. This is like the off brand to the one that was originally made. I saw a review who said they had both an there was no difference. For have the price I think it’s worth it. We tested it on my husband and the suction is strong ! I think it would definitely work in case of emergency. It gives me peace of mind to know I have it. Not just for my self but maybe for someone else. It’s definitely easy to use and quick ! Buy it !! Just to be on the safe side if you’re paranoid like me !

I have four kids between the ages of 3 and 8. Fortunately I have not had to use this, but it gives me peace of mind just having it in the house. It’s really quite a simple device… basically a plunger for your face. It has 3 different size masks that cover the mouth and nose. They’re very soft so that they can conform to the face and make a good seal. There’s a one-way valve so that as you push the handle in it doesn’t force air into the person’s airways and push the obstruction further in. Pull the handle and it creates suction to dislodge whatever they’re choking on. Performance is great- it makes serious suction if you try it on your hand. Good value compared to the competition.
