Before discovering this brand, I was using the Garden of Life. Really good! But a little sweeter than Accent. I like that as I include fruit and sometimes the GOL is a little too sweet. I love this peanut butter flavor one. It also blends well!

The ingredients in this are cleaner than most other proteins and I’ve tried the majority on the market over the last 25 years. The protein is a fine powder and is easy to digest. The chocolate and vanilla both taste decent. I use this as a shake before my workout or at night I will mix it with Greek yogurt for a healthy dessert. I use this company’s creatine powder too.

I can’t really do a full scoop of this without really a lot of water. It’s pretty sweet (chocolate) but I’m so glad that I finally have found a plant based protein powder that doesn’t give me gas or make my stomach super bloated. I had issues with Garden of Life and Vega. Ascent Protein for me (because of that reason) is worth spending a bit more.

I don’t know if I would take this beyond just in a shake. It’s too sweet if thats something you like to do with protein powders…

It’s tough to swallow because of the nasty taste. It is way too sweet & has a weird aftertaste that I can’t even describe. I read the reviews before I bought it but bought it anyway because the ingredients are so good & it has 25gms of protein per serving (that’s why I gave it 2 stars). I’m trying different things to add to it to make it drinkable (again, because of the good ingredients). I can stomach it if I
add lemon juice or unsweetened cranberry juice (I also add greens to my protein shakes).
Their whey protein powder doesn’t taste the greatest but it tastes much better than this product.

I have been searching for a protein powder that has a good amount of protein, blends well and tastes decent. This one is just okay. While it does blend well, it is very thick if you use a scoop in 12 oz of water as suggested (maybe blending with fruit as a smoothie will be better??). The taste is okay, it has a saccharin like aftertaste to me ( I purchased vanilla). Overall, I give it four stars for the ingredients and the amount of protein.

Really like the product, especially that it’s plant based. I use in everything – smoothies, baking, breads, hot oatmeal. It has a very vanilla and sweet taste so I use in place of vanilla and am also able to use a lot less sweetener.

I’ve never been a fan of vanilla protein powder. Much less a vegan one. This one is delish! I add oats and blueberries with ice/water and it’s my favorite meal!

Wow I was so happy with all the ascent products that I had consumed lately that I was excited to start using some plant based protein from that brand as well! This is by far the worst protein powder that I ever try… the taste is so chalky, heavy on stevia and it is the awful to blend! Frist I tried to mix with just water I added more than 15oz of water, tried to shake it for way more time than I ever did with any other protein powder, and still got left with a barely mixed, awful taste, and a very thick pellet of unmixed whey on my bottle. Later I tried to mixed it on my oatmeal, and boy that did not work out as well… it just created a bunch of chalky pellets and again the worst taste ever. And lastly I tried blending it with fruit and yogurt, although this was able to mitigate the bad taste, I still got the chalky taste/consistency, and again this protein was so hard to mix 😳, even in a blender I had to scrap the sides, add tons of liquid and blend 2 -3 time to get a smoothie consistence without thick slimy pellets of powder… just 🤮
