Mailed by Australia Post from UK to US. It took about 2 weeks to arrive, tracking was practically non-existent. The bridge itself is a nice, semi-fitted one. The top arch and string grooves are usable for most 4/4 violins, the feet might need some fine carving. The whole bridge is incredibly thick, so some people might want further thinning. The strange thing is that the stamping is not on de straight but the curved/convex side, however the arch itself us correct if looked at from the straight side. I don’t know if these are factory seconds due to the stamping, but otherwise it sounds nice on a violin, even in its thick state, suggesting that the maple wood was selected for good acoustic properties.
