I searched high and low for the smallest-footprint confetti shredder which has casters, and this is it. I am pleased to report back after shredding all week: works as advertised. The safety and utility features are a nice touch. I am very happy with the purchase. It looks great, too.
The only slight improvement I would recommend to Aurora is to make the bin a bit easier to put back in; it seems to catch on something when it’s 99% in place and require a little wiggling/shoving. No big deal, though.

I’ve been using this Aurora AU830MA for some time and it doesn’t disappoint at all. It has pretty much all the features of every other shredder out there, but at outstanding performance. I keep my machine on auto shut off 24/7 for quick random shreds and only change it continuously run when I have many documents. I’ve never managed to shed long enough to reach a cooldown period and I have never had any issues with jamming. One downside is that the shredding speed may be a little slower than lesser secure models, but you are getting this one for privacy. Obviously constantly maxing out to 8 pages would also slow the machine down, but it always chugs through without hiccups. I don’t move my machine around at all, but the wheels definitely will help with it’s weight and maneuverability. It’s very easy to keep track of how full the bin gets over time by the little window and the red indicator light on top when it’s full. There are other red indicators for the bin being open, shedder is jammed or overheating. Besides red lights there is a green power light indicator. I have no doubt that it’s durable and having owned a previous model Aurora shredder for over 12 years I feel like this new model is a great investment and I’m looking for it to work reliably for a long time.

I’ve had this shredder for a few weeks now, it’s quick, quiet, powerful and does an overall excellent job shredding. It’s easy to empty without making a huge mess and from what I have seen is durable against the biggest junk mail shred jobs. For the price, I couldn’t be happier!

After checking stores and reading reviews I decided on the Aurora AU1060MA in white. My previous shredder was cross-cut, but you could still read the pieces of shredded paper so I chose the micro-cut. This machine is slender, has a 6 gallon container which easily pulls out and I like that it has a long window so you can see how full it is. With the micro-cut pieces being so teensy (like grains of rice) it’s impossible to tell what was shredded and it takes longer for the container to fill-up. It rolls easily, has a modern look and is light weight. I lightly inserted nine sheets of paper that were stapled together; they went in easily, shredded quickly and quietly. I read one review that mentioned using a plastic bag inside the bin for easy disposal, but when I called Aurora Customer Service, whose number is listed on the shredder, I was told not to put a bag inside the container since it could interfere with the function of the LED indicator lights and cause damage. The container is easy enough to remove and empty into a waste bag. It’s a breeze getting rid of mail since we get lots of unsolicited mail, daily. My only concern, which one reviewer mentioned, is the not so good quality of the “rev-auto-off-fwd” switch; it’s kind of cheap but hopefully there won’t be an issue with it. Otherwise this shredder is perfect for my needs and I’m glad I picked this one.

I’ve become a bit paranoid about security since we had some credit cards hacked (not sure of the right word). We had an older shredder from an office I used to work at but it finally went to shredder heaven, so I did my research and chose this. There are more powerful units, and units that can do more pages at once, but this one seemed to strike the right balance for us. It has gotten “home-office” use, so not an overwhelming number of pages per month. Within this use pattern, it’s been rock solid. The paper bits are tiny compared to other shredders, so I’m a whole lot more comfortable that the bits can’t be put back together (seriously, if someone takes the time to reconstruct any document from these bits, they are going to be very disappointed anyhow…)
Definitely a worthwhile purchase.

On a eu beaucoup de déchiquetage à faire et elle peut vraiment faire 55-60 minutes sans arrêt, pour le prix c’est vraiment surprenant. Elle est belle, déchiquète vraiment en petits morceaux. On l’a que depuis 2 mois, alors la durabilité je sais pas mais l’efficacité super!!

Fast delivery. Nice look. My office is white and it fits to the theme. I LOVE the rolls. It makes it so much easier to get it in and out of the corner. Noise while shredding is decent. Bit slow while processing. Fortunately, I don’t need to shred too much – otherwise it would be a problem. Good feature: the pull out basket. So much better than my old device. All in all 4 of 5 stars.

I bought this shredder for my husbands office. His previous shredder was old and not a high enough P level for shredding of sensitive documents.
I’ve been going through his filing cabinets and just in 2 weeks I have shredded approx. 300 gallons of shredded paper – I am on my 11th 55 gallon trash bag. It has yet to overheat and I’m sure that I am sometimes shredding more than the 10 sheets it says it can handle. I try not to overload it, but I don’t count the pages. The shred size is perfect for sensitive documents.
This is a great prodcut at a reasonable price when you need to do a lot of shredding but don’t need one of the really giant shredders that are so expensive. You need to empty the container more often but it’s not a big deal.
Plus it’s white and has a nicer rounded, modern shape to it versus the square, bulky, ugly black shredders.

Chose this as it was listed as a top pick on another website. Not the cheapest option but fairly priced for what it offers and how often do I need to buy these? For me, it’s quiet, shreds in really fine pieces, and looks clean in the office. For what I want a shredder to do, it seems like a solid and dependable choice.
