I’ve tried out SEVERAL brands & types of wet food for kittens after two adorable tiny tabby brothers came to overtake… I mean be part of my family at 6 weeks old and barely weaned. (A neighbor rescued them directly from an awful situation and brought them to the neighborhood crazy cat lady—which would be me. They’re stuck with me now!🥰)
Anyway… where was I? Oh yes… wet kitten food.
This is the only wet kitten food they consistently love and eat. It has a *visibly high moisture content*—super important for kittens—and is the perfect consistency for their little kitten pie holes. It’s got the right ingredients & nutrition for kittens under one year old (and none of the stuff you don’t want). They’re happy with it. I’m happy with it.
[Side note for those looking for the right wet kitten food: the worst and most DRY “wet food” for kittens we tried was the “Limited Ingredients” all natural one. Couldn’t even get my adult cats to touch that.🤢]
This brand is a little more expensive than some but not as high priced as some of the popular “boujie” brands.
The kittens prefer the seafood/fish flavors the most. Having a case shipped to my door every month vs going to one or more stores to get enough of this brand is also fantastic. And slightly cheaper than in from the pet store. If you’ve got kittens, I definitely recommend this food.👍

My older dog lives fishy tasting food on top of his prescription dry dog food. I’m using this more like a tasty topper for him. He likes the flavor, and the aroma is bearable for me. I only use part of the can and store the rest in the fridge with a lid. Good brand and good ingredients.

The one reason I bought this online was because my neighborhood pet store did not have any available. The price is basically the same as buying them in store. If you know, you don’t have time to stop by store. Buy them online, which is literally what I did, the second time buying this on Amazon. And I’m sure this will happen again in the future. The size the texture is same my cats do not complain. They had no stomach issue and they got to one of their favorite

How disappointing. Tried feeding this to seven different indoor cats (from picky seniors to chonky young cats who will eat almost anything). One tried it but walked away; the rest wouldn’t touch it. So I tried it on a small feral colony I take care of. Only ONE cat would eat it…and he’s so easy to please he’ll even willingly take bitter/foul medications if they’re mixed in his food. This was an expensive gamble that didn’t pay off. Too bad, as they like some of the other Wellness types. I thought for sure they’d like it–they generally like poultry pates. Pretty sure the offending ingredient is the inclusion of *cranberries* (I wouldn’t have bought if I realized that was in there). My cats generally won’t touch food with things like cranberries, pumpkin, carrots, sweet potato, “greens,” etc. I wish pet food companies would stop putting that weird stuff in there that a cat would never encounter in the wild except in miniscule bits in their prey’s stomach. As a plant eater I love that stuff, but my cats are not plant eaters.

So I was curious about what my cats thought the big deal is over this food so I tried it myself. The turkey and salmon had a very odd taste to it. Personally mixing the two is something I would never do. After eating this I got severe heart burn and decided to try the next flavor.
The lobster flavor is very lacking in the taste of lobster. It maybe missing a nice warm garlic butter to be dipping. When I put real lobster meat next to a dish of this food one of my cats preferred the real lobster. I totally agree with him.
When I try the other flavors I will review them as well.
