I ordered the “Invisible Drum Set, Electric Air Drum Sticks Kit, with Drumsticks, Pedals, Coloring Lighting Speaker and Bluetooth, Virtual Air Drum for Adults, Kids, Gift” to review and to use as a novelty item when not playing my real drums. For reference, I am an experienced drummer. When I saw these, I got excited and thought “How cool!” Unfortunately, they missed the mark. I had such high hopes. Being a scientific thinking guy, I am so curious how these are supposed to work and what mechanism perceives and triggers the actions. I want so badly to think that maybe I am using them incorrectly. I tried many approaches and had to constantly re-sync the stick per the instructions but inevitably, I would be keeping a beat on the snare drum and suddenly it would switch to a tom sound. Then I would reach over to hit a crash cymbal and just couldn’t find it and the sound coming out was the same tom across about 3 – 4 feet of range. I did like that the foot pedals seemed to respond well but the hi-hat did not function anything like a real hi-hat. There were a few other minor picky issues but as is, no formal drummer would ever find these useful unfortunately. Younger children or total beginners might enjoy the novelty of being able to play without disturbing the entire household as long as they turn the volume down. One shining discovery was that the speaker doubles as a Bluetooth speaker and sounds halfway decent. 3 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️– Average to Below Average – A bit less than what you would expect based on the Product Page. Left feeling somewhat disappointed. Maybe you’ll feel differently but I cannot fully stand behind the product.

For my objective for purchasing this and the price, I might keep it, but only because of the price and you can still get a good drum workout with them.
There’s definitely delay. It’s not real, precise, or consistently accurate timing and playback of what you’re performing. The marks where you’re supposed to hit are not in sync with the real layout of a drum set/poster they provide as a reference. I actually had to hit behind my head to achieve a snare drum sound before recalibration.
I still may return it. I just opened it and tested it out. Maybe it’ll warm up. I love the idea and concept though! The work of a full drum set really makes this worth it if I can get it to act right.
Also though the box was sealed, the packaging inside looked like it has been opened/used before. The qr code instruction manual was I. Chinese, so unless you know that you have you use contact clues and follow the video visuals.

When I first got this product, I thought it was crap because they don’t give you very good instructions on how to use them or what not to do so as I played with these, I found that if the I want, you is not face up at all times, your drums will get uncalibrated and will not work properly But if you keep the I want you face up at all times you can have a lot of fun with these things

We’ve had a lot of fun playing with this eardrum set. I couldn’t believe how many things you can do with it. They’ve got sensors you put on your feet so that you can have those drums. There’s sensors that are on the drumsticks so you can play your large “drum set”. I also really like that they have a poster with all of the drums on it so you know where they are supposed to be and where you should be swinging. Especially since we weren’t drummers before this. I really do like how the speaker lights up in different colors. It’s a cool system.
I can’t wait to show my daughter. She was an actual drummer all through school and even after. She should do a great job with this. Far better than we have.
The only issue we have had is the “drums” seems to move a little while playing. I’m not sure if it’s us or the sensors.
Either way drummer or not, this has been a lot of fun!
