Seems real sturdy. If you’ve tried say a pelican 1300 and a HUL whatever that’s about the same size, you’ll know the Pelican is thicker plastic, actually waterproof, has thicker hinges and latches, etc. This case is much closer to the Pelican side of the spectrum. Quite impressive for the price.
Biggest issue is keeping the 3 layers of foam together when removing larger objects. I’m thinking something with 3d printed plates on top/bottom, meeting even between layers in some places, and held together with spacers/pins that push through the foam and lock everything together.

Foam is quality and has multiple pick and pull layers. The locks click in place securely.
I REALLY wish this brand had more sizes because this is miles above an eylar, seahorse, or apache case. And is easily worth double the price (at this time appx 75$)
That being said this size they do offer is a fantastic choice for only offering one product. It fills the gap in most case manufacturers between a shallow rifle case and a much smaller deeper box while still being long enough.
I have 2 so far and I hope they are still around when I need another.

Well built case for this price, i would buy another. Kind of a cheap gimmick to put that knob looking item near the handle. On pelican / nanuk, those are pressure relief valves. On this case, it is a regular bolt with a plastic cover snapped on that serves no function other than to look like a pressure relief valve at a glance. That negative aside, this served as a battery box for a small solar project and lived out in the full sun, rain, and snow for over a year and it is still in good condition being used for another project.

*UPDATE – After using this case for two months I have to say it is the BEST case I own. I have carried it in heavy raain, being bumped around and dropped accidentally (about three feet) it has kept my 17″ laptop safe and secure. I have no problem with putting it in the bed of my pickup when transporting (I have a regular cab with not much space.) This is definately recommended for any gear.

Case closes securely. Holds gear safely, quality foam easily cuts, pulls apart to fit items.
No dust, no water spray or moisture gets in the case when closed & latched.
Quality of my Pelican cases but a lot less $$$

I wanted a case to store my VKB sticks I use for Star Citizen. The left is an Omni throttle and right is normal premium.
I have pelican cases for my SLR equipment and this case is not the same quality by far. However, it’s good enough! The pluck foam comes in 3 layer and pluck size is about half the size of Pelican’s.
I hope this helps other VKB users out there.
