It was delivered this afternoon and it’s big! Bigger than expected. I wasn’t sure at first because of the zebra but it’s SOOO PRETTY. I have two cat and they both like it! I needed a close litter box for my bedroom and I’m verry happy with this one.I definitely will buy another one for my living room.I don’t know about the scent or what it will be like to clean it yet but yea very happy and the shipping was fast!
*Update: it’s perfect, it doesn’t smell in my bedroom, the floor is clean ( no litter everywhere anymore ) and It’s easy to clean.

I actually bought this to use without the top…I needed a jumbo litter bin to put inside a kitty washroom. I needed high sides and width as well as length. Catit has always come through for my kitty and this was no exception!
It is so sturdy and well made that I decided to try it with the top just to see if my cat’s high urine markings would seep through. They don’t! This litter is also “polished” so it is extremely easy to clean. The last litter box I had (Van Ness) was so difficult to clean and the stickiness stayed sticky. I get the sense that most litter boxes tend to be long but not wide (rectangular) so a larger cat can be cramped when turning but this jumbo litter pan is more square-like and I notice my cat loves the extra space! I do not use the door at all…you can easily remove the whole entry and partial lid…and it looks great (like a door/sunroof)! I have no smell issues but keep a diffuser with lavender right on top of her bin. I am so happy I found this–I returned the kitty washroom btw.

I ordered a couple of other litter boxes (which I returned due to size or quality or design. This one is about as close to perfect as any them it seems. It is a good size for most cats (mine is a Russian Blue 6 mos and there is plenty of room for her to grow to her full size). I have removed the flap – just out of preference . The base if wonderfully deep. It does have 4 indents on the bottom but if you use clumping litter there is no problem with these pockets filling up. The grate at the entrance seems to catch almost always all of any granules from her paws. I don’t bother locking the top on as it ‘clicks” closed nicely and it is easier to just swing open the hinged top portion for cleaning that way. The sliding tabs do lock easily though it that’s your choice. I have just ordered a second one of there for another room — A nicely made product — and an excellent value for the money. Meow.

gato usaba un arenero convencional, pero el pobre se topaba con las paredes al hacer sus cositas. Buscando por internet encontramos este maravilloso arenero, en el que caben 4 gatos como el mio (que es mediano). Ahora mi gato caga a gusto y tiene espacio suficiente para su real culito. ❤️

I have used the Littermaid auto clean box for 2 years and I have replaced this 3 times. I have also used others because I need multiple litter boxes with my cats. I have 4 cats that stay indoors and my litter box could not keep up. I decided to look for a covered box and decided to purchase this one, based upon reviews. I am happy that I did! It is now my only litter box. Yes, with 4 cats, it is my only litter box because they only want to use this one. It is easy to clean and creates less mess and smell. So I am happy to have just one now!
My previous litter box used the corn cob style litter and I continued to use this litter until I ran out. There was less mess! Like it actually stayed inside the litter box. My female cat is a kicker that stays in the litter box for awhile kicking stuff around. My previous litter box allowed it to come out and track everywhere. It was not the sides that it would go over, but when they actually walked out. I also would mix the crystals with this, again litter would be everywhere. Not with this new litter box! I had the occasional mess around the front of the box that stayed on the rug. I now use Tidy Cat and it does even better. I have watched my cats get out and have figured out what is making less mess. The front door has a small flap type thing that slightly bends. It sticks into the litter box, right where the door would meet. With my cats coming out of the litter box, they put their front paws down on it, and it bends inside just enough to allow the litter to fall back into the box. Sometimes it is left on the edge, but most times will fall back. This is just what I have noticed.
I did take off the front door because my cats did not want to enter. I do not find this to be a big deal because the odors are not terrible when you clean it each day. I also use the stick on odor controllers that were intended for my Littermaid box. I do buy thee still and just add them to top on the inside. With 4 cats using this box, the size is awesome. Even my Maine Coone cat can get inside and move around without any troubles. When I am ready to clean it, I simply slide four lock bars and the top comes off. I have not yet replaced the filter. I really don’t think I plan to often because I do use the stick on carbon filters.
Take time to consider this litter box. It is great for multiple cats! The litter pan is large, so expect to use most of your 30 pound litter bag to fill it up.

Oh my goodness, this box is a life saver. I have two cats; 1 who pees standing and 1 who has kidney issues and therefor pees a lot. Due to this, we have three litter boxes and they were all bricks of urine at the end of the day (yes I clean them every night and it’s a lot of pee). Well, I recently moved and bought some newer litter boxes for my space. Problem is that it kept leaking all over our new floors even though it was enclosed.
Got so irritated but stumbled upon this box and it’s cool anti leak feature. Decided to buy one and test it out. It is PERFECT! Not only does the anti leak feature truly stop any pee from getting out, it is also absolutely MASSIVE. We filled it with an entire 40-50lb bag of litter and it could have probably fit more.
I still clean the boxes daily, but it’s not nearly as bad as it was before. I actually went ahead and bought a second one for our second floor to replace our other two litter boxes (yes, it’s that big).
I did remove the plastic piece from the front because my boys don’t like being enclosed in spaces and it freaked them out. It was simple to remove and could easily been put back on too.
So, if you have multiple cats, or cats with peeing issues, this is the box for you! Honestly, you could probably have one of these boxes for two or three (normal) cats and be fine as long as they don’t mind sharing. Oh, and I notice a lot less litter on the floor with this box as it has a lip in the front.

Okay, I LOVE this litter box!!! I’m so happy with the size, the design, the easy access to scoop litter (by flipping the door back), complete with a bag holder to help you scoop it out and straight into the bag, and better yet, MY CATS LOVE IT! The other box was so disliked they’d stand half way in and pee on the litter mat. But this hasn’t happened once since I started using this box. The only thing I have to complain about was that it was damaged when it arrived (shown in photo of cracks), but with the help of a little super glue to piece the cracks together, it’s not enough to stop me from loving this. I’m sure the damage happened while it was being shipped, although when I was piecing the product together I don’t see how it would have been possible to complete without the damage, fitting the prongs into the holes would have been impossible to do had it not been broken! Perhaps someone else will have a better time with it, but clearly the person before me didn’t (I bought it used.) Also, one of the prongs were missing from the door, so I took an old pair of headphones, sawed the plug-in in half, and super glued it to the side of the door and voila! This litter box makes me feel like McGyver, but seriously, I highly recommend this litter box. I’m so sure it was a fluke that mine arrived damaged, so please, don’t let my review stop you from buying this wonderful litter box!! & If it is damaged, just get creative, it’s worth it!
