Let me start by saying I’m not upset that the ingredients don’t match the website, I was wondering if it was a older product and maybe they revamped the ingredients list or something, so I did contact btan and got no reply, I have requested to speak with them a second time (waiting to hear back hopefully this time). In the mean time I figured I would post a question here on Amazon and see if anyone knew, well clearly people are grumpy because a couple responses have been rude and wrong. Most indoor tanning lotion have DHA in it, that’s how you get color so fast, you wouldn’t know that without looking into it though, but maybe not answer questions saying tanning lotions don’t have DHA when they do. A intensifier or a accelerater does not have DHA in. And most Bronzers have DHA as well some have “natrual” or cosmetic Bronzers. I was just looking to see if anyone knew why the ingredients were not the same.
I want a lotion without DHA as I seem to turn orange or even more yellow “golden” with them and was super excited that Btan a self tanner company had made ones without! I just didn’t want to be disappointed if I bought another bottle and it then had DHA listed. Now as for the bottle I got, it seems to be a nice lotion, I like the ingredients that are listed, now I will say I get a DHA smell on my skin and that’s what made me really interested in looking at the ingredients.
As for the person who answered my question here on Amazon telling me not to ask you an go contact the seller, maybe go take a nap because you didn’t have to answer 🤣🤣 you do realize you can just not respond?! Right?
The second ingredient in the btan website photo is what DHA is listed as on products that have it. I thought maybe it was listed as something eels on the bottle I got, can’t seem to find a ingredient that works as DHA in that list though.

If you’re looking for a very pleasant smelling tanning bed lotion this is it. It smells like vacation. On a beach sipping a margarita with a light breeze. It’s fruity and sweet and after a tan the smell lingers without the “burnt” smell. Easily applies to skin and a little goes a long way, ensuring a bottle will last you several tanning sessions. After one tanning session I noticed a good amount of color to my skin but maybe it’s a placebo? Anyway, will be buying again for the scent alone and the way it applies. You won’t regret.

They definitely didn’t disappoint with this suntan lotion! It has a nice light smell. It goes on great. It doesn’t take forever to get it rubbed in. Best of all it works great. Yesterday was my third time using it and I can tell a huge difference from before I started. I have such a great color now and I can’t wait to see how great my tan looks after my next lay!! Take my advice and get it you’ll be so happy you did!!

sorry i don’t have a photo. this is the first time ive purchased outside of a salon. This was a lot less money. I’ve been usuing it at home in the sun for about 20 min. 40 total. I got great color the first day. If you tan easily I suggest this product, absolutely! For the money again, absolutely! I would think that it would be beneficial to those who don’t tan as easily, but honestly that’s just my guess It wouldn’t hurt to try for the price. Fragrance is mild, has a blackberry aroma it’s pleasent not overpowering. It is moisterizing. My hands are soft but not discolored, BONUS!! I’ve gotten wet a few times with it on and it will get in your eyes and it’s quite hard to wipe it away with your hands you want to use a towel. It has not come close to making me break out like others have. so that made me super happy I mean kind of defeats the purpose, right. So ya, I say try it I think you’ll be pleased I was and I’m picky about these things. Hope this helps some of you.

The first time I ordered this the lotion was thick and hard to get out of the bottle. It gave a little color after 2 tanning bed sessions, but not as good as some other products I’ve used that are no longer available. Even after several sessions, the color was just ok. So I ordered another bottle later on and the lotion is a lot thinner coming out of the bottle and easier to use….maybe the first bottle was defective? We shall see after I’ve used the new bottle a while to if it tans better.

I have only tested with indoor tanning beds, but WOW this product is awesome. Has the nicest (and light) mango scent which is not too overpowering. Doesn’t leave a mess like other bronzer tanning lotions. On top of it, it has kept my tan so incredibly strong over the past month or so since I haven’t tanned. Absolutely love this product and would buy again

So I’ve never tanned in my life until a month ago when I started in beds. My skin is typically raw chicken pink, so far (with nothing else to compare it to) I am enjoying the lotion. The scent is grapefruit and I like that, however make sure you don’t use a scented lotion after, it reacts weird with that tan smell from the body and is just to many scents for a pleasant smell. It looks super dark when you squeeze it out but it rubs on white, which was a worry for me I didn’t want streaking from bronzer coloring. I WILL SAY THIS! – Men with their body hair or ladies who enjoy their natural body hair, make sure to rub in this lotion well or it can bead up on your leg/arm/chest/pubic hair and rubs off in little brown pellets later. Once I realized this and corrected my rub in amount I have had no issues.

I got this product to help enhance my tan after a long winter of no sun. I wanted to get tan quickly so I could start wearing shorts and dresses without blinding people with my super white legs! The bottle came wrapped in plastic, I’m assuming to prevent it from leaking all over the box like some other reviews had mentioned. There was a little product leakage in the plastic bag, but not bad. I had already used the tanning bed a couple of times and hadn’t gotten any real color yet, but the first time I used this lotion before going into the tanning bed the results were amazing. I had tons of compliments right away that my tan was nice and I must have been getting a lot of sun! I only used it twice because it’s all I needed to get a nice deep tan before getting the actual sun. I highly recommend this product.
