Unbelievable change. Couldn’t be happier. Even fit on existing studs, no shim plate needed.

I’ve test fitted it on my Epi T-Bird and ran through the setup procedure. It’ was only a test because the bridge does not include bridge anchors and a permanent install will require the T-Bird’s stock bridge anchors to be modified. The stock bridge anchors have a flange that will have to be professionally removed then cut or ground off so the bridge can make “full contact” with the body as designed. Stew Mac makes a “Knob and Bushing Puller” designed to remove the anchors but I would rather pay a luthier for their skill in such matters.

My conclusion after a test mount and adjustment is that such a modification for permanent installation, whilst adding a bit to the cost, is well worth the overall investment. This bridge facilitates easily making precise adjustments and auditioning different actions a treat. It may look a bit intimidating at first glance but, as usual, RTFM (really just a small single sheet of instructions) and it’s a doddle.

Aesthetically, for those to whom it matters, the bridge does not look out of place although it does give the bass a more modern look.

Babicz hit it out of the ballpark, IMO. Well done.
