Babysense 5″ HD Split-Screen Baby Monitor, 2 Cameras

We have 2 of these units, to keep watch over our 3 young kids. We bought the first unit over 2 years ago now, and it is still working perfectly. Picture quality is great in both day and night mode, and I would never be able to go back to using a smaller size screen. They get pretty heavy use as well, as they are on for 10-12 hours every single night. We bought the second unit about 7 months ago and it was working perfectly until a few days ago, when the video suddenly stopped working. I reached out to customer service, and received a response the same day with some troubleshooting steps. I attempted these without success, and let them know, and customer service had a replacement sent out and at my home within 2 days of my initial email. I couldn’t ask for anything more. I would definitely recommend.

Not compatible with Australian plugs-American product. Not sure why this is being sold on Amazon.au. Not risking my baby’s safety by using dangerous adapters.

I was actually surprised at the quality for the price. The picture is clear and crisp. The camera can rotate and turn easily around the room. The built in night light works well(though I don’t like that you have to go through low-med-high then off. You can’t turn on off in one hit.. the build in speaker works well on the actual camera(for the sounds that come on it) the speaker on the unit itself is not the best. It sits on the backside of the handheld device so I feel like I have to turn the volume max and turn in around to really hear it. But I can hear when baby is actively crying. The night vision works well. Settings and device is super user friendly. Turn on and go. The split screen is nice. So i can watch both little ones in their own rooms~beds. The range is supposed to be really far. However I did notice it would disconnect/reconnect in my front yard. Which isn’t very far from the room. But Inside the house it works fine. Maybe has to do with firewall of garage or garage door 🤷‍♀️.

It comes with two cameras. One handheld device and 3 charging cords. And the screws to mount cameras. I did also separately purchase the wall mount for the camera. But haven’t installed it. Currently have command stirps holding them up.

I’m from Singapore. Just received the camera and it works wonderfully.

Pros:
Very good range – I can monitor my toddler’s room on third storey when I’m on first storey!
Night vision is excellent even in extremely low-light setting – can make out if my toddler is still in bed
Fuss-free, easy to set up and pair
Comes with two cameras – I can use one for each of my kids
Can split screen and monitor two cameras at the same time
Power cord for camera is long, around 2m
Provides night light, white noise, lullabies – I can bring just this camera along when I travel and wouldn’t a separate white noise machine
Uses FHSS which is stable, resistant to interference and hacking
Definitely value for money

Cons:
Because it uses FHSS and not WiFi, it doesn’t connect to mobile phone and so you can only see baby if you’re at home with the parent monitor
Doesn’t have cry detection alert, or fancy things like sleep sensor pad
To my knowledge it cannot save pictures or videos of baby
Needs an adapter if you’re not staying in US

Overall very happy with the buy.
I’d still use Cubo for newborn phase because of the cry detection alert (which sends an alert to your phone even if your video and audio are off) and I can spy on and take cute photos of baby even when I’m out and someone else is taking care of baby at home. But of course, the price point is different.
Will use babysense for my toddler.

I’ve had this monitor for a day but it already knocks my vtech ones out of the water. Great battery life, super clear photo, easy install, and overall better quality! I’ll recommend this brand to everyone now.
